Day 2 of the Hobie Bass Open Series on the Harris Chain came with changing weather. With very strong winds predicted for the second day of the event I chose to make a lake change to find more protected water. That decision paid of fishing a shallow pocket on lake Yale to catch enough bass to cash a check and earn some valuable pointe towards AOY and the Tournament of Champions.

I’ll be there. I have been using the longer yak attack boomstick pro but the last couple videos I switched to the shorter panfish pro with a 6” extension I stole from another mount

Congratulations. How's the fishing in Florida compared to Alabama?

Thanks. Well this time of year I would say the biggest difference is warm weather and spawning bass. Many of the lakes in Florida are relatively shallow and have that dark tannic water. Alabama is definitely more diverse
