My grandfather taught me the improved clinch knot when I was a kid. (I’m almost 60 now) He didn’t tell me it had a name. I don’t think he knew there was any other so I grew up not knowing there was any other knot. But I remembered it my whole life even after not fishing for a couple of decades.
You learn something new everyday. I had no idea that you could swap out the tie down's with the paddle holders. This is a game changer for me. I hate having my paddles so close to where I sit down! Love the setup. Tight lines!
Great video brother finally watched this tournament wow way to end your day on the lake even at the last minute!! You never give up never drop grinding and that’s why I love your video content you keep pushing and look at your reward! Thanks for sharing tight lines take care and God bless!
Thank you for sharing your day and keeping it real. We always get the positive videos no drama no downsides to a fishing day, but I appreciate even the bad days! The struggles are real the emotions are real and it’s not all sunny rainbows! I think having a day cancelled plays on the mind and only one day to grind but you got through it and completed your tournament! Tight lines sir take care and God bless!
Awesome setup, well done! Any chance you can expand on the steering? I see you have the YakAttack MightyMount Duo Rail Adapters, but how did you connect the Sea-Lect steering peddles too the YakAttack rail adapters?
Hi Garrett. New to this and just bought the elite FS 9. If I’m going to use the gateway and NMEA setup, can you tell me what I’m supposed to do with the original power cable that comes with the fishfinder?
@@garrettwadefishing I think I’m following. Also, I saw that you have to power the NMEA after powering the motor and fishfinder, so do you have a switch that delays it?
@zmoorern it’s not a bad idea to have it on a switch. You could probably get away with putting the Nema and fish finder on the same switch so it all come on and turn off together.
I only mushroomed the tubing in the cockpit area and put a dab of glue on it. At the back I pulled the slack snug and glued it in place. Once the glue dries I cut off the extra tubing.
It’s a small company and I don’t know of anyone throwing it so I’m going to keep it to myself for a while. I probably could have caught them on something similar but I’ll never know. It’s won me money on two different lakes now.
Great video sir that was fun to watch although the conditions were absolutely miserable you grinded and got a big bag of fish! Now at anytime did the conditions out there were too sketchy to have to make a quick decision to seek safety or it was still pretty controllable? How do you decide when it is too much and you have to look at your safety over everything else? Since you uploaded a this video everything was overall safe and you got what you needed for an amazing day out on the lake. So thank you foe sharing your day and being safe out there tight lines and take care!
Now that was a nice turnaround to your tournament sir well done. You knew you had to make a decision to your game plan went to another location persevered and overcame and caught some nice large bass. So a not so good start ended a wonderful and satisfying end of day one! Thank you for sharing your day take care and God bless!
What a beautiful and satisfying day on the lake and share it with us today! I could watch your tournament days for hours I love watching your skills and technique on the water you sure know where to find them and I really enjoy them when you bring them on the kayak. I can’t wait for the end results video but when I’m off in a couple of days I think I’m going to watch some more of your videos!! Thank you so much keep them coming tight lines take care and God bless!
Nice setup and rigging. For the NK300 lift arm, can we purchase it as well? I have the same motor and the lift are that comes stock bent as it is a heavy motor.
I'm jealous of that crate, I need to make myself one. My brother and I ran into you prefishing at Guntersville when we pulled up at the ramp (Malone trailer with 2 blue Hobie 360s), we kept an eye on the standings to see how you were doing, heck of a job! I'm not sure if this was answered elsewhere but does your buddy sell those brackets by chance?
@@garrettwadefishing you know what I’ve only fished my kayak once in the last year! I don’t even know what I’m talking about! I think I’m more into accessorizing it, due to lack of days off.
If you're not short on time it seems like the sweet spot is between 20% and 30%. That offers the most range with the least amount of battery consumption. That said, if you're only going on a few miles then you may as well just crank it on up.
Awesome video Mr Wade I found your video by chance. I don't own a Hobie. But I own a native Titan 12.5 a Hobie will be next please keep the videos coming. I just subscribed. Stay safe out there and God bless
@@garrettwadefishing You should look into the Ketch Jake plates. When i replaced mine I set my plastic Hobie ones one the table and i was amazed at how much they deformed. Sick kayak none the less.
@@garrettwadefishing lol referring to your 2023 KBF championship video I should be down there for the Knucklhed series in November. Keep the videos coming
