The ad was used for over 20 years. In this case I opted to use the year it was recorded to the tape.

My memory is a bit spotty on this one. All I remember from it is the person running in the rain. I checked out a newer version and all I remember from that is the roof shot of a taxi going out on its next run and the Chrysler LeBaron GTS passing through the frame. This version is my favourite though as I prefer the dated scenery. I’d rather see a blue leisure suit on someone other than cousin Eddie than the pencil necks with stupid haircuts.

The second cab is a 1975 Impala, my bad. That front end is dadgum near identical to that of the ‘74 Caprice. Also, it was neat to see the old Infirmary and my grandmama’s building on the horizon in that shot of 426.
