This is my unboxing, review and demo of the Casio CDP S100 Piano keyboard. Learn about Casio CDPS100 : 👉 amzn.to/3mhMc2S
This is my first piano and I wanted something that would be good to learn on that had a full 88 keys and was weighted like a real piano. The CDPS100 is a very good budget keyboard and I did my research before buying. I found lots of keyboards, however lots of them cheaper than this didn't have great reviews and people complained about the feel of the keys.
The CDPS100 has the best of both worlds, is fully weighted, full size which for a beginner is very important to get the right feel and strengthen your fingers. It is also very easy to use, portable and can take batteries or mains power. I have found as a beginner the Casio CDPS100 is great to learn on and I have fully enjoyed using it over this week.
At the time of filming Amazon had an option to pay for this piano with 5 interest free instalments but this may change with seller
If you have any question about the CDPS100 please let me know.

I have the slightly newer CDP-S110 which allegedly has a better piano sound but the rest is essentially the same instrument. I've played the piano since I was 9 and I have had many electric/digital pianos over the years. Bought my S110 for fun - for busking and occasional pub gigs as it's light and can run off 6 X AA batteries, not for serious recitals. The action is fine, not too light, but does take some getting used to on faster runs/trills. Feels fairly clunky but you can dig into it. The action is not too noisy but like all digital keyboards you can hear the 'hammers' thumping away a bit but it's ok. Piano sound decays too quickly but is ok. In a busy pub/bar nobody would notice. Textured key surface - it's slightly too rough for my liking. It's not like any real piano I've ever played. It may smooth off slightly with age. The other sounds/voices are ok - nothing special. Bass notes on Grand Piano are very tinny/thin sounding - but I've heard similar on cheap acoustic uprights. It's because of the limited 64-note polyphony and small speakers. Because of the 64-polyphony, I do notice so some notes dropping out when using complex chords with sustain, but again I don't think it's an issue for the type of fun gigs I'll be doing. It's light, compact and it won't cause a double-brace X-stand to wobble too much.

Well done Mark .One tip for you .The note labels you stuck on are on the wrong notes if you use the music symbols . They are Bass clef and they should be down the bottom end . Middle C is on the Treble clef , so the music lines need to match any sheet music you use ,as a beginner . Work up from Very Easy music through Easy to normal . Chords are fun anyway so you can always enjoy them .

Very good Review Bro. But hey, get rid of these sticks on the keys. It will slow you down with time. You will get even better without them. Cheers!

How’s your practice almost one year later? How well are you playing? Have you been studying by yourself since the beginning?
@markshonestreviewsandhealt6953

Hi Matheus, well it's been a bit up and down as I stopped trying to learn tye notes and started playing by ear which is how I learnt to play guitar and drums. Due to being dyslexic I really struggled with on line lessons but found learning songs I like and watching how to play them works well for me. I really enjoy playing when I do get to play but maybe I don't play as much as I would like to. Cheers

Hey. attach an audio in, say from a phone, play a song, now play, then it should play through speakers. Now if you put a headphone in headphone jack, can you listen to what you play AND the phone audio too? I'm asking because i am considering this as one of the two(other being Yamaha p45, same cost here) that i'll buy

I'd like to know the answer to this question too ahah Mark could you enlighten us? :)

I'm pretty sure the recording is only for what you play on the piano keys. Since if the Piano had a built in recorder to record music from outside, It would require quite a memory, and would be a much expensive product.
@MugilanBaskaran
@MugilanBaskaran 3 года назад
@@3xperiment8 no it's not about recording it. It's about the device being able to mix the two tracks and play through the headphone LIVE. Anyways, I went with the p45

Hi mate, I don't think so it does have some sort of digital input at the back but I'm not advanced enough to understand any of this. Might be best to Google the model or look at an online manual in pdf format.

Hi Aaron, I'm a very basic user so you may be better off going on to Amazon and asking someone in the questions area. It does have a connection at the back but as I say I'm not aware of how this process works I'm just learning how to play tye thing! Cheers
