I have this watch. I like the rubber strap on this as it doesn't grind on my carbon fibre framed laptop when typing. So its comfortable throughout the day. Multiband 6 keeps it bang on time, ideal for daytime use without having to remember to charge it like a Smart Watch.
Wearing the MTGB3000B1A black model, which relative to this would be the previous year's model. This series typically has a 12.1mm thickness which I think is a compelling feature. Watches wear better when they're not too chunky.
I think this colour way is absolutely fantastic, particularly the fun lume on the bezel. Kudos to Little Treasury for actually filming this aspect as well, which G Shock themselves haven’t managed to do. For me personally I wish G Shock would go back to doing more digital models in this large case size. My collection is stuffed with analogue watches and it would be nice to have something digital in there that isn’t a ‘square’.
Nice to see a Casio review Chris. Love the color scheme of that piece. I'll stick to my CasioOaks and the GBD200UU9 as my beater watch. A thousand dollar for a GShock...hmm. The price for BT usability. Wearing my Alpina GMT at the moment then switching to Panerai PAM00048 for RedbarBaltimore.
What were you exactly expecting the rubber strap to be? Something like the MR-G Strap with folding clasp! This strap is perfect for this watch and also unique.
I am Wearing My green bezel Casio Duro, because I just like it, I have a G-SHOCKS, mud masters, my newest is the GWGB1000 but I was in duro mood today it’s just a simple looking diver watch which looks good on Any occasion
This piece has some indices that are charged by light which is what we call "lume". It will glow strong and then get weaker generally over a few hours.
I wouldn't let go of my triple sensor for a mil bucks but i bet if someone handed me one of these I'd try it on and immediately not wanna go back. lol. 3 dials wins over 3 sensors. i'd think.
This is really a cool piece, so much so that I ended buying it. I know the price is crazy for a Casio G-Shock but hey it is a fun looking watch and I get a lots of complements, especially from women!
