This guy can jam it!!! That's how to Demo a piano. I know the video was short but he spent explaining the features by 30% and Playing 50% which kept the demo exciting! Thanks
Rudi, you are a fantastic competent musician. You also possess the ability to clearly communicate technical aspects of an instrument. I love your honest qualified reviews. Thank you
I've been to probably over 200+ videos with demo guys and this is the first guy that plays his own stuff that actually sounds like a melody or like the last piece, that sounded like he was doing a gig live! Gee!! I wish I could Jam like he that!! So Cool and love his accent, hey mate!!
This guy Rudi beats any other guy out there when it comes to demoing pianos!! This Casio stuff is mind blowing .. my search is over for a practice piano at home! 700 sounds is awesome and I downloaded the list .. it is frikkin awesome .. they got all the world sounds on this thing! And the connectivity with the ipad is another mind blowing feature! I am sold lock stock and barrell!
Say Rudi ,are these Steinway piano samples an improvement over the Px160/360/560 samples? Looks like Casio going to clean up with these two instruments. Thanks for a very good demo and overview of features!
Rudi, I have these questions, the sounds you áre playing comes from the piano app or from the pxs1000?, comparing the px s1000 vs CPD s100 or cpds 350 conecting it to the piano app witch one do you recomend most??, Regards.
Hi Rudi, this new Casio or Roland FP90 or Yamaha P515?, i'm looking the best best key action and finger to sound connection in a portable slab!... Thanks!.
I'm eager for that, too, and I think that will happen once they are in stores. I read a comment by Mike Martin that Casio was still working on the sound and rhythm selection at the time of the NAMM show, so the units you see in the current crop of videos don't have a lot to show beyond the pianos, strings and a couple rhythms.
To me that is a GREAT feature! I can easily insert a "Dummy Plug" into the headphone jack if the need to silence the internal speakers ever arose. We use a keyboard in our church and the internal speakers act as monitors for the pianist and create the ILLUSION for the congregation that the sound is actually ALL coming from the keyboard. The feed from the Line Outs to the PA System simply adds a fullness and depth to the overall sound filling the sanctuary with ambiance, much as an acoustic piano would.
Hi guys, the White color one, will the plastic parts yellow over time? Please advice..I really would like a White one but I worry the plastic would yellow..And if yes, is it easy to un-yellow?
There are RU-vid videos on re whitening yellowed plastic. It is possible to fix if that happens to your keyboard! (I hope it won't, mine arrives tomorrow!) (In black)
How do I put the piano in app mode so that the chordana app recognizes the piano. I am connecting my iPad with a USB A female to USB B male adapter but the chordana app keeps saying error.
Hey there, great video! I'm a beginner looking for a digital piano that will last me several years as I progress with the instrument. Which one would you choose out of the Yamaha YDP-164 and the Casio PX-S1000? Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.
Is the grand piano sound of the 1000 and the 3000 exactly the same or is the 3000 piano sound richer or different? Thank you as I’ve been try to find this answer out for a while.
I usually have at least two keyboards on a stand. Thus, the Casio would be on the bottom level and my Dexibell or Hammond XK5 on the upper level. I worry that the smallness of the Casio may throw the stand off balance. And, if I play aggressively, which is usual, I worry that the stand and keyboards will rock back-n-forth.
Looked at this today in the store and it fairly blew me away. My question is can it really match Roland's samples and is it necessary to be connected to the internet to access the sound registry?
you prolly dont give a damn but does someone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Alaric Luciano thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I bought one of the 3000's and the pitch bend wheel loudly vibrates when I play lower end keys at higher volumes through the speakers. That's a real problem for the $800 price.
I am on my way to pull the trigger on my first digital piano and after looking up things, I am stuck between the 3000 version of this Casio and the Roland f140. I would really appreciate it if you could help me make an informed choice. Thank you! 🙂
@@DRC92 didn't pull the trigger on neither yet, but I am really thinking the privia will be the better choice as I got the chance to play with the pxs1000 a few days ago, awesome and very responsive keybed, even though it seems a bit more soft to the touch than a korg c1. Haven't had a shot at the Roland yet. Hope it helps you make a decision as well.
Yeah I am thinking the PX-S3000 - this will be my first piano, I really want to learn how to play it, as I live in space where I can't be playing a loud instrument (will be using headphones with it predominantly), I live remotely in WA so hopefully there's no issues in getting it delivered!
the PX S1000 is a great device. BUT ... why the app only works via cable and not via Bluetooth is beyond me ... absolutely incomprehensible ... because the app keeps crashing under Android, runs so unstably ... horrible :(
Darrell Wood Casio PX-S3000, Casio Privia PX-560, Korg Havian 30 or Yamaha DGX660 if you are looking for a nice digital piano with rhythms. If you are purely interested in the action and the piano sounds, go look what Korg, Kurzweil and Roland have in stock. Quite frankly, to buy an instrument in this price range, it is worth going to a music store and try out the various instruments for yourself. Don’t hesitate to invite your teacher to accompany you if you’ve one, or else a friend who has more experience than yourself in digital pianos.
