The Yamaha (Piano 1) is realistic but sounds *very* compressed; even the quiet passages are loud. The Casio (Piano 2) is realistic and much more dynamic; the quiet passages are gentle as they should be. For playing with emotional expressiveness, the Casio is much better IMO.

The Casio sounds more accurate while the Yamaha sound is more full.

PX 160/A100 wins in all aspects. for the sounds, key feel and built in speaker power

I tried both. Yamaha feels more realistic. And the keys are more similar to a grandpiano.

Casio outperformed Yamaha... I enjoyed the dynamic range of Casio.

The piano 1 (Yamaha) has better harmonics. The sound reverberates nicely and remain nice till the end. I think its due the better sampling although It lacks the dynamic range that is far more perceptive on the piano 2 (Casio). The resonance on Casio is poor...harmonics are poor... The notes resonates without the ambience that we linsten on the Yamaha, but Casio is more versatile due the dynamic range that make things more adjustable on the play. And thats cool. Though fight there mates...

I think you can have that on casio...it has more piano presets which includes the mellow(warm) tone

The sound of Yamaha is more realistic, less warm than casio if you want, but more bright and realistic.

Its cleaner, true, but it doesn´t mean that it sounds more realistic as a piano...Yamaha imitates better a piano

hmm so which one is which??? I guess yamaha is piano 1 right? It sounds more realistic and classical than casio which is piano 2 i think

Ambos tiene notables ventajas y desventajas: Para mi el sonido del piano yamaha P115 es un sonido muy bien gravado y muy bien ecualizado; pues tiene profundidad, excelente reverberación pero no tiene tanta brillantes como la del piano Casio PX160 que cuenta con un sonido mas natural y sin tanta ecualización, indudablemente es un sonido más brillante pero tiene como DESVENTAJA que sus finales/picos tienen distorsión de sonido. :'(

Подскажите, пожалуйста, выбирая между Casio PX-A100 и PX-160, что предпочесть? чем они отличаются? Механика клавиатуры, как я понял, одинаковая, даже покрытие под слоновую кость и дерево, качество семплов, количество тембров, и т.д. все одинаково.

У PX-160 более качественные динамики, улучшен звук родесов вреде бы. По семплам фно одинаково. Цвета - черный, белый, песочный. РХ-А100 - есть 10 эмуляций концертных залов, и другие цвета корпусов.
