Wave Cepter and Seiko and Citizen radio control watches are all I really care about these days. I'm 1000 miles from Fort Collins, a north windowsill is where my watches live and every night they pick up their instructions from WWVB. I note that my Casio Wave Ceptors remain spot on in sync with the WWV shortwave tones even 23 hours after last reception. These are good quartz movements.
One of my favorites. I was just amazed that the time signal could travel all the way to my house. I think Liam Neeson wore it in a movie too. Thank you for the video.
Hi, Greg... a few years ago you posted the chimes from the Howard Miller grandfather clock, I'm making a Windows program from it which (when done) behaves like the real one. I need some information... what year is the clock, and where was it made? I can get you a copy of this program when I'm finished, it uses the computer system time to do its thing. Thanks, Aaron
I love the atomic timekeeping feature. I noticed that my resin square G-Shock (5610) pick up the signal better than my stainless steel square (B5000) does.
hey Greg have you seen the Casio MWD-110H-3AV ? It looks like a G shock square, but it's not a G shock. And its only 31 bucks. Is this in your collection and if not, can you review it?
I got 2 of the old wave ceptor watches (analogs) back when walmart sold them. I just changed out their batteries too. I used some watch gasket grease on the 'o rings' so they will last. I don't think I can get any replacements. Nice video..
Thank you Greg, your videos are always very informative and appreciated. I recently purchased a WVA-M630 with a leather band. I absolutely love this watch and wear it almost daily. I am concerned about replacing the band in the future as it doesn't appear to have easy access to the pins that hold the band to the case. I have done searches for band replacement for this model but have not found any. Do you have any experiences with this?
