When I visit my friend she always makes coffee that way, she calls it "Cowboy Coffee!" I have a first gen ipod that works great! Small speaker fills the space...yet ANOTHER advantage of having a tiny camper!! I have a Casita SD, and love your videos, tanks, Bex!
The simplicity and honesty of this video is very endearing. If I were camped next door, I might show up with a couple of HOT bear claws to round off the coffee --if not the waist..LOL I have noticed that you seem very comfortable with (yourself) and unlike most RVers who seem so compelled to be with others or banding together in some manner. True happiness is found within, so no matter where your travel, your simile will be ever present. I hope the pain of losing your doggie is easing. As they say, the harder we love, the harder the pain when lose, BUT what is life without love. Bob
I'm struggling w/ maintaining my Casita's refrigerator while traveling. Hate to lose the food that needs to be kept cold.....using propane while towing which is supposed to be a no-no. I have a JBL tube speaker blue-tooth that I depend on. Love it.
Love your home and love that music. I'm a coffee person myself and after watching you make your morning coffee, I started my coffee as well lol. I do want to ask a few questions please. How much lint do you breathe? It may be a silly thing to ask and recommend you goggle the material that's on your walls and ceiling. I remember how shocked I was when ( many yrs ago) it was reported that lint from the dryer could cause cancer. I'm not trying to scare you but I would want someone to bring it to my attention enough so that it would prompt me to explore. Well enough of that. Next question: what's your favorite thing you Love most about your beautiful home? I'm looking at all types of travel trailer options but I keep coming back to the Casitas. :) I'm forever subscribed and please stay happy AND safe.
I hope this is not too personal of a question but wondering what you do for income while traveling. I'm still about 12 years away from retirement and I really want to do what you are doing. It looks like so much fun. Also, I would love to see a video about how much it cost per month to live this lifestyle for you.
I can tell you I am from the future, A Vampire at Slab City will fix your propane fridge. if you get this message in the past , pro tip its the propane lines that are full of air, just hold the red button down longer to allow the air to bleed out of the line :)
I think when you do not have room for a lot of stuff, you find the simpler ways to get by, keeping it simple is sometimes more comfortable and rewarding. If that makes sense.
For the Bialetti use lavazza qualita' rossa or oro. Also kimbo, segafredo, illy (way too expensive.) basically it takes the right coffee for it to come out really good but is worth it.
I too use an Italian coffee maker similar to your red one. I grind my own beans and have never had an issue with it clogging. I love the rocket sound as it finishes, but best of all it makes fine coffee.
Yes, it's a little annoying and takes some getting used to. The 17' models have 6' of headroom. I would suggest looking at an Escape or Bigfoot camper since both seem to accommodate taller people. Check out my last video from the Oregon gathering for some info on those models. And thanks for watching! :-)
@Ashley Martin: Sadly, I left him with his other mother. I tried to drive up to get him over a month ago, but forgot my purse in my trailer and had to turn back after a few hours when I realized what I had done. But I'll see him in a few weeks when I return to the bay area. I really miss him!
Aren’t you missing a way to make money by sending people a link to buy these products from Amazon? Maybe you have enough to do right now. But I was going to ask what kind of coffee you used. Now I know!
Your coffee idea will work great while sea kayaking and camping! I am in talks with the Casita dealer now, hope to buy next year! Thanks so much you have inspired us to hit the road after retirement!😀
Great to see you again, lost track of you. I have a question about the carpet on the walls. How do you clean them to keep the walls clean and how do you hang pictures on the wall. hope all is well with you. happy traveling. lv from south Mississippi
Holy crap, you have little twinkles sparkling around you..at first I thought it might be dust but at 5:20 and 5:52 I saw orbs fly down to your left (our right viewing ) we blew up the video and those are not dust particles! You have someone watching over you!
