@@nortexoid Dude when I was 37, I felt like I was still 27. 47 is when you start feeling old. 40+ is the age when you start really slowing down as an althete.
@@arslaanpasha3334Well Stan didn’t win any of his slams till he was 29. Casper just became a top player in 2022. He still has time, maybe he won’t win a slam ever but he’s still a great player.
Do people go to their jobs to have fun or to earn money and do the job properly? Tennis is job and even more important than ordinary job because a player can be seen by the whole world and can be a legend forever if achieves something big. If its just an entertainer he will always stay like some clown who makes people smile nothing more and other players will be praised to the top and respected.
Yes wow incredible, so it is the only thing you point out in a tennis highlight ? Being "polite" is not the objective of the sport and does not make you win trophies you know.
@@potzysk2 yes, after few days US open uploads extended highlights when already next round is already played and it is not relevant. Instead of making short, extended and full match, they can just make extended highlights on time
7pt tiebreak down 2-0 and at 1:45 Monfils refuses to end the point but plays around & lightly taps the ball. He may be the biggest waste of talent I have seen on a tennis court
I'm looking for full match videos on this RU-vid channel. Specifically, I'm interested in finding the full match between Djokovic and Popyrin. Due to the European time zone, it's challenging to watch live, so I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if this match is available. Thank you!
Monfils wins an epic point and almost has a congratulatory parade for himself, Ruud wins an even more epic one and just slightly smiles. No hate to Monfils as he is really entertaining, it was a great shot and the crowd loved the celebration, but I find Casper to be such a refreshing break from the many many players who fist pump and scream after every point. It was just a very interesting contrast.
Monfils sometimes chooses the more entertaining outcome over the fastest route to win the point, sometimes resulting in him losing the point :D but I can respect that. Isn't the joy of tennis more important in a way than points and achievements.
@@brianbarrett192 Indeed. He's earned around a 9-digit sum. Having fun on the court, entertaining the audience and being liked by most people who enjoy tennis.
classic goofing around from Monfils on that point in the tiebreaker. He could have simply hit an overhead but instead dinked it around. He's done that 1,000 times in the past, to his detriment.
Highlight always include the winner in the thumbnail and about 5 points of a 5 set match. You will get more views by not showing the winner, and more money by making the video longer guys!
1:46 that was overly confident and a complete amateur shot from Monfils, that could easily had built momentum and taken the match t a 5th set. But a very entertaining match from both players! Feels like Monfils is having it rough at the draw because of the ranking, he is still obviously still capable f beating top 10 players.
Monfils is one of the most dangerous unseeded players in the draw. Shoutout to Casper for executing well. His net-game has improved, he’s counterpunching well, and executing well. Would not be surprised if he makes the second week of this slam
This match was like a masterclass in tennis! 🎾 I love how both players can stay so cool under pressure, especially Ruud. Makes you appreciate the sport even more! Can't wait for the next round! 😄
Monfils is a nice guy, but his tennis is anything, except entertaining. 1-2 (artificially) spectacular points in a match doesn't make up for his super boring playstyle of standing 3 meters behind the baseline and pushing the ball.
