Cassard Review - The new French Torpedo boat is a nice surprise 

Best part of the guns is most of your dpm is behind you so you can just turn out and kite away with most your dpm if need be.....and that french saturation is so good. Its a nice unique hybrid dd addition IMO

The torpedo damage reduction over distance is such a stupid thing. What happens? The warhead gets wet? :D If they were really looking for some balancing mechanism, they could just make torpedoes loose their speed and therefore give enemy ship more chance to dodge I think we're really close to have surface ships with homing torpedoes now and from there, who knows? Maybe cruise missiles? An idea could once seem radical even to Wargaming, but once you've taken enough steps in that direction over the years, that same idea may not seem so distant at all

3:40 just a reminder, wg nerf the maximum dmg threshold from 8km to 7km in the last minute devblog before the patch. 5:30 And even tho cassard have same gun like marceau and colbert somehow the shells travel faster than both marceau and colbert, not to mention cassard have 1900 dmg per shell instead of 1850 dmg per shell like marceau and colbert. U cant out gun both tho, but u still got respectable dpm, and shooting a long range target was overall easier with cassard 6:50 as i said before about last minute devblog before patch. Wg nerf the torps max dmg threshold into 7km, they also buff the concealment from 6.5km max to 6.1km max

Looks fun. French saturation is very powerful perk.
