her time in office left us with something like a 50 billion pound hole so I think she has a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go before she makes up for it
@@maccagrabme You want to go from a corrupt party in hock to its wealthy donors to voting for a party bankrolled by a single billionaire and both owned and fronted by a man who refuses to stand for Parliament, having failed seven times before? Do you know what the saying "leaping from the frying pan into the fire" means?
@@maccagrabmeI would love for there to be a viable 3rd option but Reform is the scrapping of the barrel of tories and Leave. The fact they call themselves ‘Reform’ when they are just more of the same is rebranding/double-talk. Farage has openly said he isn’t putting effort into this UK election as he wants to focus on helping Trump with his campaign. This is not someone who cares about the UK
Truth, he doesn't need AI and deepfakes. He just uses the very words they speak. He's the official interpreter for those overwhelmed by the constant stream of soundbites and bullshit. He makes them tell it like it is.
@@randomsimpsonsquotes6033 That is certainly what the Tories want you to believe and part of the reason they have driven the country to rot the last 14 years.
@@randomsimpsonsquotes6033very likely. Will be a surprise if not, but after 14 years of this and no improvement to be seen or even on the horizon, a change is needed. Might as well see what the other side (be it labour, reform, or any other party). Eventually you just have to say "this isn't working, give the other guy a chance"
Thank you Cassetteboy for your sacrifice, I can only image what you went through having to listen to so many Tory speeches in order to find the right content to put that together.
I was thinking the same thing! The man has the charisma of a small plastic soapdish.. Putting this together I think I would have lost the will to live..😫
The Tories have shown that they are very competent at one thing - taking the piss out of the electorate time and time again with absolutely no legal consequences for their actions.
They keep breaking the law with impunity. e.g. - Sunak gave £50Bn of tax payers money to his mates and Tory donors in VIP lane contracts the courts have ruled were illegal. Why hasn't he been prosecuted? This was serious fraud. Furthermore the goods services that money was spent on were unfit for purpose or simply didn't materilise. Under consumer law the Government can demand a full refund but haven't done so. Why Not? Because they benefitted from it. Forget the Great Train robbery, Brinks Matt and the Hatton garden job. The biggest heist in British history was when the Tories stole £50Bn of tax payers money and lined the pockets of their chums and themselves with it. - Boris and Cummings illegal attempt to prorogue Parliament. This was effectively a coup attempt to try and overthrow British Democracy and install an autocratic regime. It was a straight from the tinpot dictators playbook. Why weren't they prosecuted and given custodial sentences for such a serious crime? - The manslaughter of thousands of British citizens during covid, particularly putting infected patients into care homes without testing them first and then CONTINUING to do so after being informed this was killing thousands. - Cutting benefits for the disabled under their vile PIP scheme, which has led to thousands of deaths with people dying from malnutrition or not being able to get insulin. - Illegally deporting British citizens in the Windrush scandel which led to many being assaulted, raped and even murdered. And there are many other crimes they've committed which they haven't been prosecuted for.

@@MookMineolanope. Back in February 2024 he announced they would cap green funding in their first term in office. This was announced in public, and widely reported in the press, Green’s condemned his announcement, Tories couldn’t say anything as it’s basically their policy, Lib Dem’s, well they probably commented but who cares
the fella that was blasting D:Ream out as Rishi did his soggy announcement needs a hand as apparently his whole speaker system is blown despite trying to protect it all from the rain with brollies & that.
I've spent far too much of my life under Tory governments; about 2/3rds of it by my calculations. And the only thing that made both of the long stretches of Tory rule that I've lived through bearable has been the comedy that was birthed as a reaction to it, from "alternative comedy" sticking the V's up to Thatcher in the 1980s, to cassetteboy maintaining that proud tradition today. Thank you.
I hate to break it to you mate. The other side are no better. The country just flip flops from one lot of posh people to another. You will probably disagree. But you’ll find out soon enough.
@@rickys7435 I don't disagree ... I just left out any comment about how there's nothing to choose between them - especially in this upcoming general election - for the sake of brevity. Despite my screen-name, I mostly try to keep it brief so people don't have to click "read more" :) Corbyn is the only politician I've given a tinker's cuss for since "Wedgie" Benn, and Benn was more my dad's era.
There are millions of people for whom there are massive differences between Tories and labour... If you're trans, of have a foreign spouse, work in a university, are on benefits... We have all suffered massively under the Tories and will not under labour.
@@devononair That's a no on all 4 counts, so that probably explains why it's not so obvious to me. I'm more concerned about reversing Tory anti-protest laws, re-nationalising utilities, taxing corporations, restoring workers' rights, etc. Old-school leftie stuff like that. On those kinds of issues they are utterly indistinguishable.
@@Ragdollcatlover 4 days after the election it's my 60th birthday, both my parents & 2 of my grandparents lived into their late 90s, that means there's a good chance I too might live another 30 years if I'm lucky, it would be wonderful if I could spend the rest of those days Tory-free.

Perfect fit, reuse someone's idea and then dont do it while cutting services to make more room for nose rubbing. I honestly cant see why people believe either of these creatures. As a comparison I feel if this decade mirrors our civil war and this time the M.Ps are the problem

Unfortunately, I live in a Tory stronghold. Market towns always prioritise less taxes because they're shortsighted. They'll have at least one seat, despite me fervently wishing otherwise.
@@kaitlyn__L Not Witney. It seems they're all as depressing _(politically speaking)._ The worst part is, the local MP has been the MP for the past 23 years. He has visited the local school to influence teenagers into thinking he is a "good" candidate. Just checked his Wikipedia - it seems he was arrested with sexual assault charges in 2022.
@@British_Rogue oof. Sounds like they all follow the same playbook. I remember Cameron also visited schools around his constituency to try and get the kids on-board early. Though of course he had that seat for less time. I wonder what the historical reasons are, for Scottish towns with a mercat cross being marginally less conservative than English towns with a buttercross.
@@Olyfrun oh my sweet summer child. tactical voting just enables centrist shits like Blair, Brown, Miliband (E) and Starmer who do bugger-all to deliver anything meaningfully different to the Tories. they've had plenty of time to prepare for the future and they blew it. I'd sooner vote Binface than Labour!
Sadly. Just looked at some opinion poll stats. 34% of Brits still think it would be better under the Tories than Labour. Vote to get rid of the tories, tell your friends and colleagues
Labour won't be perfect, this is true. But they won't be the tories. Not seeing their smug faces on tv as the economy crashes and burns will be a huge boon to everyones mental well being.
Unfortunately we'll see their faces on the media. Whenever anything bad happens they'll be there saying "Yeah, knew that would happen" or "You didn't wanna do it like that". At least they'll be out though.
@@SkeletonDrums1 Just the ones shilling for GB News. But at least there's the entertainment value of watching them try to act with gravitas alongside a loon having a meltdown.
I really hope Starmer gets the police to wake up and figure out where the doubled national debt money went to. No spending, Austerity killing thousands, yet it went to £1.7 TRILLION.
Having recently spent 29 hrs in a chair in A&E waiting for a bed whilst suffering a severe attack of pancreatitis ... One has to hope that Labour make a better job of the NHS than this present bunch of charlatans.

Absolute class - so much effort has gone into getting this "just right" - what a masterpiece. I'm crying - with laughter, and the realisation of how painfully accurate this is... Oh well! Mustn't grumble... :-D
This is the most accurate summation of the Tory legacy to this country over the past 14 years and all in just over two minutes. Pure genius. But just make sure to use your vote wisely # anyonebutkidstarver
If Labour's PR department aren't kicking your front door in to beg to use this as their election message then there's no justice. A beautiful piece of work which - as usual - sums the whole revolting situation up so elegantly. 👊
The original Anti-Hero lyrics "Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman? (tale as old as time)" almost work in this version as well. You just have to swap congressman for Tory politician.
I love the ending, it just says VOTE, it doesn't jam a party down your throat, it's mint. Obviously I'm voting Labour because the Tories cut my balls off 14 years ago and I would like at least 1 of them back 🤷🏻♂️
