Not to excuse the way Diddy treated her, but I think Cassie must have seen abuse growing up and thought that it was normal to stick around. Glad that she made the step to remove herself from that situation.
Black Men there were too many excuses, the World sees there's something wrong with all! of you. Black Men that have Black Daughters, you need to pay attention. Realize NO ONE IS GOING TO HELP YOUR DAUGHTERS, THEY COULD DIE.
I hope you got paid for all your hours you worked. This should be part of the lawsuit if he wasn’t paying you all your money. This is why he is a millionaire because he didn’t pay them all the money they all deserve.
Idk whats real or false in this entire situation. What i do know is theres always people trying to save a victim. Cassie wanted the lifestyle so she stayed. I dont believe she was scared to lesve for years. She stayed for the money until the money wasnt a good enough reason to continue taking the abuse.
Fare assessment. Based on what you know thus far. You even admitted- you don't know. Those closest to Cassie have an advantage because they were in the inside of that situation aware of what she did, what she couldnt do. My question is this- based on her testimony that was confirmed by what other eye witnessed said- the money was there. All around her. So why did she try again and again to run away from it? Sean was extraordinarily tight fisted. EVERYBODY knew that. After him kicking her, besting her a** and forcing her to do all that extreme SA crap- and Sean refusing to pay you what you deserved? How much longer would you have stayed in that situation?
@@keithbell9348 Well we don't know if she tried to leave many times. What we do know is she was in the industry and people have been speaking about how Diddy was with women since the late 90s and early 2000s. If I knew that as just an average American, surely she heard way more about him than I did. I met Cassie once almost 20 years ago in Dearborn Michigan at a studio. Based on the interaction back then I can see how she would naively get involved with someone like Diddy. Cassie saw dollars sign and made a choice. No she didn't deserve to be treated the way she was treated but unless Diddy kept her in a cage and only let her out for public events, she could have left years ago.
@RushBig0786 On that I can also only assume. But I agree- how old was Cassie when Sean took her under his tutalege? 19? Young, dumb & inexperienced. She had no life experience under her belt to help her discern just how messed up the atmosphere around her was like. Other women have come out and they immediately could tell the situation was off. If they saw it for what it was, and still decided to "take it on the chin" then for me there is a basis for concluding "they asked for it because of that bag". Does that apply to Cassie? I dont know all the facts. All I can do is listen to the testimony from those like Tiffany Red. Listening to her it gave me a more broadened understanding of what it was like for Cassie, for Tiffany and for others employed by Sean. I am not going to speak for Tiffany. But I invite you to check out her interviews on this subject for youself, and then you decide for yourself on that. Including if Sean kept her in a "cage" or would have told her- "hey! The door swings both ways. No one forced you to come in here. And no one is forcing you to stay. You don't like it- leave!"
@@keithbell9348 I don't have to listen to whoever Tiffany Red is to understand human nature. There's Diddy's side and these women side. Only God knows what's fact. What I know for a fact is women who wind up with men like Diddy wind up there because they see the money and fame. If Cassie or any other woman wanted love and a good man, Diddy wouldn't have stood a chance. This is why I find it hard to go along fully with narratives that this guy was so terrible while none of these ladies hold any responsibility. Cassie was naive but I won't blame her age. She was 19. She was old enough to know a good man from a bad man. The only part she was naive about was thinking she wouldn't get treated like the rest but she was focused on getting the bag. So she finally got the bag. This believe all women mentality is one of the things taking this country down.
@RushBig0786 I believe what you originally questioned wasn't How or why Cassie got involved with him but rather why or what prevented her from leaving him. But you have made up your mind on this and its your mind to change only if you decide to do so. At the outset of this conversation you included the words, or phrase- "Idk". So I offered to provide you with some info that you could look into to provide you with more context. But if your not interested thats ok. With all that I have learned so far on this matter, I see things differently. Lets leave things at that.
I don't think Cassie told Diddy. Diddy probably wiretapped her. I am happy she escaped. We know that Diddy is dangerous. He probably beat her to confess who she was talking to. So there's other side of the issue. I am glad he tried to help. But it's sad that it backfired. It's hard to escape an abuser especially a billionaire.
