@@wisco9er536 Well, he did a great job in the lighthouse but it was a really small budget independent film. He has been doing an amazing job in secondary roles, playing characters far from the typical handsome boy. But Tenet is a AAA budget project with one of the most important directors of the decade and he is co-starring the movie. That's the recognition I'm talking about.

@@superjarri I know. The thing is maybe in the far future he'll get recognition. I just haven't seen anybody mention him or his performance when they talk about the film right now. I see people only talk about the sound and how the film was so confusing. Anyways, I don't care. I like him and I love this movie.

Rob is all class on this interview. Washington is the main character yet the interview seemed to focus more on Rob. Despite this Rob decided to bring attention back to Washington and the crew. I've really begun to respec him more these last few years and Washington is one of those actors that I'm keeping my eye on, he seems like a down to earth and talented guy.

@@RYAN-zm8kr SPOILERS: His character died in the bunker by helping the protagonist open the gate moments before the algorithm was about to activate, but you see Robert's character come back bring the two characters out of the bunker, and that is because he then inverted himself back to the moment he opened the gate. Also you can tell it's him by the trinket on his backpack that he always wears.

Imagine a man who has been populer with his "handsome boi" role in a cringe movie, after the series end, man only plays in indie movies for years, and suddenly he comes back and plays in a two hit movie and one more coming. Like guy turned into man who fapping to sculptures because of loneliness(lighthouse) from cool guy of class. Respect to Pattinson. Plus if he manages to act well again in the new batman movie i think his career going to skyrocket.

Imagine an actor who cares about cinema and challenging himself as an actor who rejected traditional, mainstream success and instead made a list of auteur directors he wanted to work with, and then set about working with them. Who turned down all the big budget studio dreck that was offered to him so he could discover new talent like the Sadies and Brady Corbett. Then he gets a call from the super auteur director who gets studios to give him a huge budget and then steps back and lets him make the film how he wants--Nolan. Same with Matt Reeves. A director with a vision, not a guy who makes studio films just for box office. The films have to mean something. They have to have heart. Rob doesn't have the career he does by accident. He took charge of his career after Twilight and made a path for himself. Oh, and he's not going to continue to make these blockbusters, he's going right back to indies with Claire Denis next year. The Stars At Noon. His doing two studio films was to raise his profile so it's easier for filmmakers to get financing for his indies. It was a strategy, like the rest of his career.

Almost every media/youtube channel has been doing this.. hyping up Rob Pattinson's role in the movie more than JDW. One would think that JDW was taking a side kick role, rather than starring in it, when even Nolan himself said that JDW's role is the hero of the film, before the movie even premiered.

There are a bunch of parts in the movie where the characters are going forwards and the rest of the world is going backwards so, in order to make it look like that in the movie, they most likely had to film the actors acting backwards (while the world is going forwards as usual) and then reverse it.

The parts where you see objects or people in reverse interact verbally or without touching with normal ones can be meshed digitally, but when linear people have to physically interact with inverted people, only way is to shoot that would be, inverted people need to actually move or act inverted.

Nolan is notorious for wanting to do EVERYTHING with practical effects. The shootout scene on the highway when Sator was inverted was done with the actors actually doing everything in reverse. That way you could see the glass of windshields magically become unbroken while Sator still moves forward. The final siege at Stalsk-12 had inverted and forward people in the same frame so it was necessary there too

Robert Pattinson received the news that he'd been cast as Bruce Wayne in The Batman (2022) on his first day on set shooting this movie. This is an interesting coincidence, as director Christopher Nolan previously made three Batman films: Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
