I was going through such a hard time, my dad got re married, there was an awful divorce, i was fighting with everyone that cared about me and slowly became depressed. but one day, my friend cameron told me i needed to look up this song. i was soon addicted. it helped me through so much, i just thank the cast of American idiot for being so creative and talented. you guys are incredible c:
This song spoke to a generational two war front, but the male vocalist appearing first was the platoon leader actor for the HBO series “Generation Kill” that was an account in the second invasion of Iraq. That alone makes the performance deeply sincere.
Don't know how I missed this...blew it off thinking it was probably a bad recording. Yep, I'm a dumbass because this is a great performance! They sound excellant-bone chilling! Wish Icould have seen/heard this cast's production. Hope the road cast will be as great!
luv the dudes that comes out singing the second verse... but billie joe just does it better :) i prefer hearin billie sing that prt :) but i luv his voice still
2022 I'm listening to this song a year and a half after the tragic death of my sister on 7/6/2021🖕Pfizer 🖕🖕🖕 and it's hard for me that she wanted to do a good thing and died. Why? An apology from the government that forced us, threatened us, blackmailed us.
