I still remember when she told him she wasn't ready and he kept pushing her and telling her to give them a chance which made her give in in the first place. This cast being the first people to part take in this experiment must have been hard enough. The pressure of being judged and doing the wrong thing etc not knowing how the show will even turn out? Being told that you have to immediately switch off your emotions for someone lol weird. Realistically speaking it made perfect sense for Jessica to still have been attracted to barnett back then. Anyway I love how she learned more about herself through the experience. The reunion gave Amber the validation to keep treating Jessica like a shit and I think that's why her and Barnet were so mean to her in after the altar. They probably assumed they would get love and support again for hating Jessica.

Compatibility is overrated and not always accurate. We’re all individuals and there can be subjective compatibility that not everyone agrees with. Love is a choice. It’s not about the feelings. Feelings will always have it’s highs and lows.

I used to feel this way, but at this point, I think that it’s a little too extreme a viewpoint. I think that yes, love is a choice and feelings will go up and down, but there are also elements of compatibility and being a good fit with someone that can impact the relationship to a degree. I don’t think just choosing to love someone and then trying to force it is the best option in a lot of cases.

However, in the case people just looking for compatibility for the main decision, it’s just gonna fail. Whoever you marry comes with their own baggage of problems - not to mention yours as well. Also, moving on from one marriage or partner to the next (aside from abuse that is too complicated), will just get you another set of problems. The problem isn’t always in incompatibility, or the other person. When it comes to marriage, commitment is what you said in your vows, through the good and bad times, til death due us part, etc. So i know divorce and breakups are normalized but we need to look at why stats proves ppl keeps divorcing again after his/her first. If two is committed and honors that, they need to stop playing victim or using excuses. Behaviors, knowledge, and attitudes aren’t fixed, even if it’s through genetic or addiction. It takes the proper actions.

@@siewitnessnews I did see it. I don’t remember much about it. I thought he and LC dated after the show? I remember Jessica saying something about Mark going to see a bereaved friend, which is what friends do. Like said, I don’t remember enough about after the alter ….but neither of of them was any more wronged than the other. Jessica was throwing herself at Barnett on the daily. The only reason things didn’t go further was because Barnett wasn’t interested. Maybe they shouldn’t have portrayed Mark as innocent ….but Mark’s shitty behaviour still doesn’t excuse Jessica’s. It just means that they were as bad as each other.

The last we heard from them Barnett had sold his house, paid off Amber's bills and they are now roommates with friends. It doesn't get more ridiculous than that. Barnett made a bad choice in my opinion. I would feel so bad for him if he was my son. He could've done so much better
