What Harbor did you get the fresh sardines at? They look healthy enough just to eat themselves. and what can one expect to pay for like a half a bucket?
Some nice stripers man! We've been doing pretty good near the ramp for largemouth and some stripers. Had a monster hook up on Saturday evening that snapped my 15lb line, can't wait to get back out there and try and get my payback!
Yeah man would have took my pole if i wasnt sitting next to it with it bungee chorded down. Gonna be heading out there Saturday morning so hopefully we can get some good fish.
nice video , what size of hook you used and can you advise any other bait than sardine? I 'm not sure if I can get sardine , thinking to go there first time , this sunday
@@jonathancruz332 Fresh sardines do work better. But, in my opinion, as long as the frozen stuff is fresh frozen and not old, it works just as well. Just keep it on ice and they will stay on the hook. I've caught near limits on striped bass up to 9 lbs using the frozen stuff but it has to be a good batch of frozen sardines or anchovies. You can tell just by looking at the bait.
Went there about three times, never caught anything, was even using night crawlers. I was using a swimming jig, top water, crankbait, and chicken liver.

Sick video, went out today for stripers but dang it was hot, fished by dam next to that "no boats within 500' " sign. No luck but a couple largemouth on a drop shot....what line are you using and test???
