You passed our house! I walk the dog to Castellar regularly. What a slog. I'll thumb a lift next time, or at least give you my Lab who is lazy. I think the Ami at Castellar is the one that convinced us to get one: it fair whizzes up and down to Menton everyday. Your videos are super and so well produced. Thank you.
thanks a lot guys, a gentle episode with Mediterranean vibes, the music, houses, landscape, and the drone footage......amazing!!!! Twiggy seems to enjoy the ride, so cute and well-behaved little dog. Happy birthday Mr. Boo, wish you all the best and you too Tim.
Thank you for taking us along on your journeys . I feel as if I am tagging along enjoyably with Tim, Mr Boo and Twiggy . Something that Television Travel Programmes fail to portray is the ability to be part of the scene this Mon Ami achieves effortlessly.
22:04 - The “Mon Ami” team gets photo bombed by another Ami. Too funny. (Or is it video-bombed?). Also, Mr. Boo’s face every time Tim says: “Let’s see what happens.” 😀 Another fun (vicarious) adventure. Beautiful drone shots. Great video as always. Happy Birthday Mr. Boo! (Hope your lap stayed "dry" during the trip back home). 😜
@@MeandMonAmi It once happened to me after driving with a rabbit on my lap. Try explaining that when you get out of the car, with bodily fluid in exactly the right spot - just not your own. 😀
The Castellar offered out of this world views and which people who visit Monaco should definitely see! Only real obstacle is the narrow mountain road to the village but Elton made short work of it. That drone footage was incredible! The French Rivera and Monaco are full of hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Thanks for the video!
Gorgeous little village...and another brilliant video, thanks guys and twiggy who is just so adorable... Very entertaining great fun 👌... take care as always 🙏 Oh and have a fantastic birthday Mr Boo enjoy 🥳
On May 31 2023, we were in that exact spot under the A8 in Menton trying to drive back into Italy and the traffic was so backed up with big trucks going into the tunnels that we decided to take the ground route to Sanremo. To see all those trucks perched so high up was somewhat scary… and we didn’t want to get stuck in the tunnels for hours squished in between all those trucks and fumes. Looks like you were there at the same time… small world…
Bon anniversaire Mr Boo 🎉🍾🥂. Thank you for the stunning drone views. Twiggy is lovely, she seems a very content traveller. Another pretty village to visit. So pleased one restaurant stayed open for you 😂
I wish we had these in Canada, or Montreal! Montreal is perfect for these cars, aside of the crappy streets and then our lessoning brutal winters. Appreciate you guys taking us along your journeys!
Such a lovely video. Great scenery and perfect music. In fact, I felt quite relaxed (once I'd recovered from the 360 camera's loop de loops that almost brought my porridge back up). Twiggy's rapidly becoming the star of the show (so adorable). Happy Birthday, Mr Boo! 😀🥰
Once again an excellent way to enjoy a Sunday morning with a coffee. Thanks, Lads. We are counting down to get to our place in the Luberon. Less than a month now! Cheers from Vancouver Island. Mark and Deanna.
Yeah, i can't imagine venturing out of the city with the Mini SE. I think that the Porsche will be better at it. Can't wait to get it. But that will also be like a bye bye to the Mini. My niece is the one who probably would miss the Mini most. actually, I would miss it too.
Oooh I think I may have to get creative with my plant pots.... I love them.. so glad you managed to get something to eat... I was beginning to despair for you.... Twiggy is so well behaved... she is fab....lovely vlog... Happy Birthday Mr Boo....xx
Happy birthday Mr Boo. Enjoy your travels round, we have holidayed in Frejus for a few years and hopefully back down this year. If you want a mountain village challenge, the village of Utelle is lovely with a church called La Madone d’Utelle just outside. What 3 words ref. capes.subtracting.groovy Absolutely splendid view, makes the 1000mile journey down from the uk worth it, take a pic nic 👍
Very belated joyeuse anniversaire to Mister Boo!! (At the time I’m watching this, he’s had another one since). Now I think you should start educating these rude selfish people about EV parking spaces. They have those stickers to say they shouldn’t be parked here, quite hard to unstick, that’ll learn ‘em.. Another thought, tshirts with What could possibly go wrong? printed on the front. Thank you both for your videos🙏🏼❤️
Hi lads from Spain where we have been having mildish thunderstorms bringing us some much needed moisture for the various fruit crops - cherries, peaches, olives, apples, almonds, walnuts, nisperos,etc.etc. Lovely views from both ground level and above. Some very 'Pride' colours on the street furniture.
Thanks a lot. I love your videos so much. It's so relaxing. The combination of pictures and music, and the beautiful environment. Just perfect. I gives me some holiday feeling everytime I watch your videos!
On your road to Castellar, you've driven past an iconic architectural creation by Eileen Gray, Tempe a Païa. It was her own house built in 1931, designed after the villa E1027 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. I've not spotted it in your reel, it should be on the left side of the road, before crossing A8 motorway.
Wow, what a place! Beautiful videography too. It fair tugs on the heartstrings when you mis-name a new dog in your life. We took about 18 months before we got another dog and I still kept calling the pup by his brother's name for ages. Mind you, we've got four now and I'm always calling them by each others names! 🙄😂
the Megan you accused of not being electric does look like a Megan eTech which actually is electric. but that only makes me judge the person more since they are parking in a parking spot for charging while not charging. but than again, one of the chargers was broken and maybe they arrived when all the good chargers were occupied and didn't see the harm of leaving the car there.
I carry bags of dried fruit and mixed nuts for when I'm starving and charging :) have a wee gas cooker to for boiling water to make coffee :) you drive effortlessly to 1400m , Ben Nevis is that height and it's a 5 hour slog to the top :) how much regen did you get compared to what power you used to get up to the village?
Just how many of these villages are up there in the hills? Mr Boo and yourself make full use of them for these videos - for which we continually thank you. Delightful places. Looks like Twiggy has settled in OK.
There are an amazing amount. Many more to come when we find time to film/ edit them as they are v time consuming. Twiggy has her feet firmly under the table!
Thank you for celebrating French City's and Region's with grace always ! Merci Mes Amis !! Ps: Have you consider 60 FPS on videos, it's much more smooth during the Drivings and fast movements ! Keep up the good work ! and take care of you 3 !!
@@MeandMonAmi Cool, by the way the 360 degre view part where you made like a back flip gopro style, was fun xD Be safe on Our French Roads !! My Wifey and Me we try to do some youtube videos like yours xD BUT the Citroen Ami is still not imported here in Taiwan, (i'am a French Expat.) we will try to learn from you guys if its ok !? When or if the AMI comes xD !
Your birthday? Congrats Richard 🎉! This was another one of absolutely fantastic trip thru the beautiful French Riviëra... You should be sponsored by the Tourist board of France ànd Stellantis! Magnificent filming and editing and as always perfect music choice! What did we see? Mr Boo as an athletic man, wow..... (and well h*ng😂)! Well done guy's and Twiggy! See you on the next one. Kind regards, Richard and Bas
@@MeandMonAmi I still think you would both look great as two of the old fashioned Gangsters. Short black wigs, a pin stripe, hat and each holding a machinegun. 🚔🚓
I think each restaurant owner sees you coming up The hill….and closes . You have closed more restaurants….. very enjoyable as usual made better by some great background music. Buonissimo .medite. Waltz for little Italy by bireli snow. And the drone music antidote ,very suitable.
Love your videos once again. It's nice to see you are able to give another Chuwowa a home. Please tell me what 360 camera you are using on the roof, cheers Q.
Mountain goat Elton. Need Kendal mint cake. Never go hungry until you get the Dentist bill. Certain irony that the Mayor is a farmer but can't get food.🤔
Mister Me and Mister Boo, Twiggy & Elton! Gorgeous village high up in the hills & spectacular views too ❤ Mister Boo facts machine in operation again 😊 Twiggy seems a pretty placid little dog 🐕 that will fit in well with the travelling 👍 so it's Mister Boo's big 40 eh?? He's only a young pup still Tim unlike us oldies 😂😂 Great camera work & excellent dtine footage & the editing is first class 👏 remember stay well and more importantly stay charged 💯👍🎉
I loved the video, I really like to see how comfortable you are in getting into tight spaces... I'm curious what is your opinion about the new FIAT Topolino, knowing that the platform is the same as your friend's
Not having a charger available does not matter. You have claimed that using 25% charge going up a hill you can use regen to get 30% back. In other words you can create energy from nothing. I challenge you to use such a hill with 30% in your battery and keep going up and down the hill until you reach 70% change at the bottom. I guarantee you will fail. Sorry that sounds unkind. I just wanted to challenge your previous comment. Yet again a brilliant video showing a beautiful village. Thanks.
Thanks. If you use 30 going up you often gain four or five coming down same hlll which means you only have four or five to go back up so you wouldn’t get very far.. but you can come back to the base of the hill with zero power use
I don’t think that was a second hand clothes shop. It said Gratuiterie over the door. I checked with Mr Google and it looks like it may be a nationwide pick up or drop off clothing service. No charge (ahem).
You don't need full height mirror. You can blind of the lower 50% below eye-level, and still see yourself. I guess, blinding off the lower 30-40 cm would be more than enough to avoid her seeing her own image. Off course it might be better trying to train her to ignore it. But if that's difficult, it might be better to avoid the her confrontation,
The people who lived in the long grass were very small and were called the " where the f**k are we tribe, because they jumped up and down saying where the f**k are we, the huh me goolies came from a big bird which had big goolies and every time it landed its goolies bounced on the ground hence the cry huh me goolies.
Tesco here in the UK fines people for parking in an EV space if they are in an ICE car , how do they know ? ANPR number plate readers lol its a good idea as if you had no range left and need to charge but someone's stole your spot and they are not even an EV then it stops that nightmare happening.
dvd parti 😄 i think that's "divers droite" , wich means from the right side but not afiliate to a big right parti like the republicans , they are often traditionnal type of right , not far right
