It was always the feeling of "This Castiel character is a dick but he seems kid of cool??" but then this scene turned it to "This Castiel character is human and pure."
It kills me how at this point, Cas has almost never been on earth and he knows pretty much none of human culture, etc. But he knows about the Tet Offensive? I mean, that's just embarrassing for us!

Me too. I also miss when angels were badass. By the end of the series, there were almost as many on screen angel deaths as humans - innocent bystanders included. And that’s not an exaggeration. Someone did the math.
How can anyone say Supernatural season 6 to the present can match the subtlety, nuance, writing, acting, atmosphere and music of this scene and everything from Seasons 1 to 5??? Fanboys and fangirls are the death of anything good because they can no longer be critical, they are just crack addicts
...Pretty much no one. Are you fucking serious? the big fans are the ones who really hate on seasons 6-10...lol what are you talking about. Me I try to enjoy all the seasons as much as i can, seasons 11-12 really stepped it up again compared to 6-10 but nothing matches 1-5 especially 4-5
True. I still loved every season after 5. I still gotta watch 13. But you're right: the Apocalypse was the last major season. Everything afterwards (SPOILERS) with the civil wars in heaven (arch angel, factions, Metatron), purgatory, and the rest are just the fallout of what preceeded this. Even the whole issue with Lucifer in season 12 is heavily overshadowed by season 5. I don't appreciate how they've downplayed Dean's trip to hell in the later seasons. I mean in season 12 when Sam and Dean were captured by the Men of Letters, Dean described the few weeks there as "worse than hell". This doesn't do their history justice.
