here's a longer version of that destiel edit at the end :) Turn To Earth - 7x17 Edit (Ultra Destiel Version) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZlSmHN9nM60.html
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Denver Brayan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I’m so mad that they did Cas dirty in the more recent seasons, like what’s the most badass thing he does now? Breakup with Dean? Truly Castielphobic smh
Alphie Stuffs right! Remember the first time Dean punched him, he hurt his hand, now anyone can kick his butt. When Kripke left they made Cass a punk 😭😭
@Darker Edits Cite moment 1. Look at how badass he used to be. Now he's just a guy with a little power but even that isn't what it used to be. We want the Cass that walked into that barn and became the most powerful character in the show. Angels aren't shit anymore.
There’s one scene that I love, in season 5 I think it is Free to be You and Me. Where Cas and dean trap Raphael in a ring of holy fire. And at the end Raphael is like, are you seriously going to just leave me here. And Cas says something and at the end he says, “but today, you’re my little bitch” I love it
- Castiel, I am worning you, do not leave me here. I will find you. - May be one day, but today you are my little bitch Love that part too. It's just awesome. P.S. Sorry for the mistakes I may have made, english isn't my native language
Yeah it’s a shame. But also he was an easy scape goat. Boys both dead? Oh that’s ok cas will revive them. Stabbed? Cas will heal them, teleport them etc. I love Castiel but I can understand why they nerfed him
This is why once i finished the recent season, i went back and watched earlier seasons when cas used to be so strong and independent and badass. Now he just gets his ass beat all the time and doesnt fight and seems more in the way, I miss his old powers and awesomeness :(
The Born-Again Identity really is Castiel at full power as a run of the mill Angel which is something we never saw, even when he was introduced in Season 4. Yeah he raised Dean from Hell, but Heaven sent an army of Angels, it could've been any one of them. But in that episode he takes out five demons effortlessly and without really knowing what he was doing which makes it truly terrifying (from a Demon's perspective anyway)
4:09. This will always be one of my favorite Cas moments. Something about the music combined with the lighting, the way they cut the flashbacks, the way Castiel is almost pitying as he says, "I don't think running will save you," coming into the full extent of his power and his past, and Misha's haunted gaze as Cas comes to realize what he is once more made for a unique moment the show really hasn't matched again
I adore the end of that scene. When he says "I remember everything." you can see the weight of the world fall back into Castiel's eyes. Misha is just astounding in that moment.
I like the fact that this is all "Castiel" moments and not corrupted versions of him, I had that problem with (not sure if it was yours or others) top ten Dean/Sam moments, in which they were often lucifer, michael, or mark of cain moments in reality(or other possessions)
I miss my poor boys wings so much. Also there is a plot hole there, as his grace was stolen, they would not have burned in the fall, therefore, cas should still have wings
Well, the plot doesn't describe properlly how this whole system of angel-wings works. I suppose that wings comes along with grace, therefore when Metatron made the spell he burned off the wings from Castiels' grace. End of storry. Btw, there is another plot hole involving that spell. As I recall, firstly it was used on Lucifer, to cast him out of heaven, so therefore he should have no wings, but he does, well we could assume that re retreaved them somehow, but somewere in the 13th seasom he says to Anael that he has no idea how do give the angels their wings back.
@@Тестканал-н7ю A little side note on Lucifer being cast out, he was in hell for over an eternity. Maybe angels wings are like their grace when its very low but still their. I think that like their grace, their wings regenerate over time but not as fast as their grace because of just how powerful they are.
YES!! I remember the first time insaw that one. I posted a comment somewhere saying, "Sure I love the soft and funny Castiel moments, but there is nothing quite as satisfying as when he reminds you that he's really a total bad ass who used to wage wars for God."
I am so, so happy you included the scene from The Born-Again Identity! I am currently rewatching season 7, and when that scene came along today I paused and watched it again twice. It's probably my favorite Castiel scene, and maybe even one of my favorite scenes in the entire show. Something you didn't point out, by the way: the very first thing Cas says after he remembers isn't ''I remember who I am'', which you would expect, it's ''I remember you'' to Dean! If that isn't a destiel hint I don't know what is!
yes yes yes if all the memories of dean didn’t prove it already, cas saying he remembers dean shows how important their relationship is. and I love that the following scene is dean giving cas his trenchcoat back. It’s a great episode overall
You can also say that he says "I remember you" and, right after, he corrects himself by saying "I remember everything" Exactly like "you" and "everything" means the same in his mind :3 If that's not a Destiel hint, you can throw me out the window x)
@@Alionatma Pamiętam cię bo cię zdradziłem .I pamiętam ,że nieraz .Swoją droga tą miłością Castiela do Deana popsuli walecznego anioła .Może nie był do końca dobry ,ale wspaniały. To answer the comment during #3 badass moment, Misha had hip dysplasia which made walking and running extreme painful, he had hip replacement surgery in 2019 which also limited some of his movements. Which is why as the series went on, Cas did less and less fighting, the whole failing grace plot line helped keep Misha out of heavier fight scenes. If you watch carefully from when he first started on the show to the later seasons, his entire gait changes due to first, pain, and then the eventual surgery.
Ah oh no I hope Misha's doing ok now! I just have to say tho, that all of these bad ass moments have cas either standing still or walking slowly. Cas was badass when he wasn't in massive fight scenes, so they could still have had cool cas monents in the later series.
My only problem with Cass is as the series went on he seemed weaker and weaker to the point of just being there because he's a main character with small moments to remind us "Oh right he's supposed to be an angel!"
The show doesn't even attempt to have reasonable power scaling. Honestly its not a bad thing, the whole show just shouldn't be taken as seriously as some people take it.
2:35 agree 100%. Cass used to use his super angel powers and do the glowy eye thingy but he rarely smites anything anymore. I really wish Chuck gave him his wings back when he was still a nice guy
Okay but remember when this dude reached into his stomach, pulled out the angel bullet that he was shot with, head smacked the angel holding him captive and then PIERCED THAT ANGEL BULLET INTO HIS EYES EXPLODING SAID ANGEL. yeah I felt some things then. That and the scene where he takes his grace back in s9.
I never realized Emmanuel voice wasn't Cas's O.o t's also one of my favorite moments. I can't listen to this song without remembering Cas smiting demons °w° Well, of course almost all these moments involve Dean : He wants to show off x) Oh my god, I love your edit at the end 😍 Another Castiel badass moment that I think could really be on the honorable mentions : In Point of No Return (5x18) when he fights the angels who came to retrieve Adam. We don't have much Castiel badass moments now and we all say "He doesn't have his Mojo", "Heaven is weak" or this kind of things but he was shown as one hell of a fighter in the beginning (Against angels too so when his power only allowed him to be on an equal footing with his opponents) and now he can't do a thing even with his mojo let alone without... T.T It's so frustrating >.< For example, in season 15, he escaped the ennemi when Dean was praying and it could have been a great badass Cas moment but no, Cas needs to be there only for Dean to have a revelation on himself. He 's always thrown around and never really participate in fights now. Like, since when can a Seraph be thrown throught a room by a lowly demon ? Cas was able to smite a whole room of monsters in Mommy Dearest ! Well, I need to stop now or I would continue forever xD But you get what I mean. Oh and, by the way, I really LOVE your little comments in these. I can't say that I don't see some scenes differently now that I've seen your videos but it's all for the best :3 Well, it was one big comment, never expected to do that... I got carried away xD
Another badass scene was when he dug the bullet out of his abdomen and used it (without even having a gun) to kill another angel and escape. I think some of his most badass moments are when he overcomes a huge challenge like that through ingenuity. But yes, I agree that all of the scenes included here are badass!
I SWEAR THE WRITERS HAD IT FOR CAS COZ HE WAS SUCH A STRONG CHARACTER AND THEY MADE HIM A BACKGROUND CHARACTER (not that he wasn’t strong, he just lost his ambition and it sucks)
I like how the flashback from the born again identity already is edited so much like a destiel video it literally only takes replacing like two scenes to make it ultra destiel
and then it’s followed with dean giving cas his trench coat back that he was storing in the impala’s trunk, the whole thing is just effortlessly peak destiel
Where is the French Mistake moment where he is finally able to match Raphael and shows his wings or his junk, should I say. I think he was pretty badass in s6 but also a dick.
Okay Im so GLAD, They made Cas super badass again in s15. Like holy shit. He was a combination of s5 badass, s13 no fucks to give + the humanity of s9 onwards.
He is not the one who defeats Chuck and I will always be bitter about this because while Chuck did control Sam and Dean for their entire lives but he is the father of all the angels and he abandoned them, let the lower rank angels be brainwashed by Naomi and let them fall to Earth. The Apocalypse would have never happened if He had been there for his children. Sam and Dean got their closure with John but what about the angels, they deserved better. And honestly, angels have much less free will than humans because Amara said that he made them to be worshipped by them which means that they had no choice but to love him and serve him, but nooo spn writers only think that the whole world revolves around the Winchesters, they were the ones that suffered the most. They deserve to kill Chuck and not his children.
2:34 that was my bestie saying and I noticed too..!! Like he said CAS was used to be a badass and now at the end he looked like people in the "Are you depressed?" commercial..!! They totally downgraded him for some no reason..!!
Also one of my favourite bad ass cas moments (top 10?): when as a human he manages to break free and steel the grace of another angel (also a little sad)
Include the scene where Castiel and Dean trap Raphael. In particular, "But today, you're MY little bitch" scene. Also, when they saw the Ruby's knife doesn't work on Castiel, what did Bobby go on to attack Castiel with a tire iron for?! 😂 "If it's not a ghost, or a demon, surely it must be a car!" Literally, what was the logic?!
2:35 I think the writer's put themselves in a corner with not wanting Cas to come off as an angel problem-be-gone deus ex machina when part of the main team, so they defanged him. :/
(Which isn't an excuse, of course. They managed to make it work s4-8 - though those early days were truly something to behold - and he deserves better from the writing team. Ever since the fall of the angels plot they've pretty consistently failed to fully represent his badassery.)
Another badass moment is from season 6 when he kills those demons and one tries to escape but he forces it back into its vessel and smites it. I think it’s from the episode where Cas tells us what he’s been up to. I can’t remember the name of the episode. I think it’s “the man who would be king”
2:33 AGREE!! and its so sad...he used to be a really stronge angel with a big caracter, but all the seasons after that put him like something week and making wrong dessicions afer and after..he even never used his "angel's hibilities" anymore. dont get my wrong..i love Cass! but its true :( even Dean and Sam trate him bad jajaja
Ok but what about the scene where Cas killed a bunch of demons the Crowley sent to kill the winchesters and Cas slams two of them to the grounds and blasts them
Cas weakened like the other angels. Lost the wings and part of his grace. But Cas was should be like Gadriel(smithing every demons, photokinesis, superpower). Its kind of sad, what he turned on. In season 6 he was ready to kill Crowley by touching his head and was ready to fight Raphael with Heaven's weapon.
I think the reason that cas lost his badassery was because after be became human, he only had a small amount of grace that made him an angel again. He just wasn't as powerful
I agree they have done Castiel dirty but let's take a moment to remember that hes been on earth for quite sometime. Other than thinking poor screenwriting and the writers not really liking castiel (yes I believe that), let's see it as the Supernatural universe. Cas has lost his grace twice? and not only that but he was human for a good while. Hes been on earth for a long time maybe the reason why hes not the same force to be recon with is because even though hes an angel hes become a bit more human(if that makes sense). Not only that but with the 15th season and how Chuck is the writer and what he did to Sam and Dean, he could have done the same to Cas since hes been also I guess a secondary hero of the story. Remember demons used to be untouchable as well, like Crowley. But screenwriting I think the writers just grew lazy with making him a badass character all in all the reason Cas could be the way he is, is because hes become more human than a dick soldier.
