That was really moving. You see? We ALL need each other to come together and trust in God. Then, the world will know peace.

Coming home from my martial arts lesson today, I had this CD playing in my car and I put this one on. I felt something really strong while singing along to it. It brought me to these recent times to the election. Now that Trump has been elected, I thought about all of the hate I've seen on social media. We're letting "our differences divide" and our country will be weaker than ever before. We need God to bring us back home so we can stand strong together and shine our light again.

So today, I heard Him say. Come home. And I think I will listen.

This song now has meaning to me compared to the first time I heard it. I've seen churches fall apart, and me being 28, I've definitely seen my share of older people thinking the young are foolish as well as the other way around. This song still applies today in 2020. Thank you Casting Crowns

Though we all have a different individual role and function to fulfill, the ultimate purpose is the same. Different joints, ligaments, and muscles but all members of the SAME BODY of CHRIST.

The animation beautifully illistrates the point that "City on The Hill" tries to get across. When we beleive that we don't need anyone and have nothing to learn from others it destroys any possibility of the unity God wants us to have.

Praise God I watched the church i got saved in fall apart after the pastor died because everyone wanted to fight over who the next pastor should be this song is legit everyone thought they knew what was best and people that didn't get what they wanted left the Chruch the Praise team leader became the pastor and had to make a whole new Praise team personally i don't think any of it was God's will the Chruch isn't the same and everyone has gone there own ways this song breaks my heart that Chruch family was the only family I had for 11 years

Worried and worn out the other day at mcdonalds a poet confrinted me i was reminded from his words why i was in this town and what i was fighting for this song is very very true listen to it and plz take its words to heart it could change your life and give u hope and meaning in dark times.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. We hear that from some of the romantics in this life to explain the absence in our lives. Realizing we're all on a different journey and with prayer and sincere hope that at the end of our private walk, with the help of the others who're walking this same walk, we'll all come together at the "City on the Hill". Pray for one another; without ceasing.

I mean they mention them in the beginning, but they never say anything else...

I think yesterday illustrated this song very well. We've reached a point in America where we're doomed as a country if we don't change. Even if the song wasn't written about that, it can be equally applied. We were founded on the idea of religious and ideological freedom, and we left morals by the wayside.
