Ah, great reaction to a great song. It sounds like the lyrics you read beforehand were more refined with a more advanced translation, and the one on the video is pretty basic taken out of a translator and a bit messy anyways :D Like in the video chorus Ruttolehto was Plague field, which is thereabouts correct but grove is the specific translation for lehto. Moonsorrow likes to use older finnish words (to add in the pagan theme) in their songs so it might not always translate that well if there wasn't a native doing the translation. I just gotta say I love how much you love Moonsorrow :D It is such a special band that deserves more attention, but maybe the long songs and raw finnish growling requires a refined taste ;) I bet your reactions are a great gateway for more people to find Moonsorrow, as you are analysing the music and lyrics are so well. So I appreciate these reactions very much, keep up the good work! Cheers from Finland!

My favourite reaction to Moonsorrow so far. The way you told the story helped me understand the song and made me realise how little i understood it and made me appreciate it more than i did! So glad i found this channel. And i didn't enter the cronic before watching this again 😆 (sorry i gave up a while ago but i did have a ... uhhh .. "energy drink" if that counts 😄)

@@RemyBonnici I use DarkLyrics but I looked at SongMeanings and they appear to be the same. I've seen some jenky translations out there; I like these from SongMachines/DarkLyrics better as I think they appropriately convey the poetry of the lyrics. That said I don't speak Finnish and don't know anyone who does so 🤷🏼‍♂️ who knows.
