Staring at the ruins of a demolished town
Or am I lost beyond the sun, soaring the skies?
When did that miserable creature die, I would not know
Claws on his back he rests for a while
With his face in the sand the moment disappears
His gaze wandering too far
When not even the eagles fly above clouds
Iron is powerless against time
All will have to lower their weapons
Forgetting every unnecessity
This too will end up in the swamp
The dreams of conquerors are only ashes of a burnt down city
The emptiness beyond the sun shall be the land
Of the departed ones
Claws on his back he rests for a while

With slow steps, from too far away
Many are in search of treasures for themselves
Iron is powerless against time
All will have to suffer in their flesh
The tired ones would wait in vain
Who is ready to give up their journey?
On this path no one walks toward us
In the end, time rewards
The time which mankind suffers
Death pales everyone's faces
Leaving corpses for the ravens claws
From the sword you will swallow the blood which you let run
Into the swamp you too will return
On the branches of trees, on the slopes of mountains
Those shapes silently await
Just waiting for you to drop on your knees
And bury your face in the sand
When you're no longer moving, you will know...
