Hey everyone, I thought I'd make some custom gears today so that's what I did. I hope you all enjoy! This is the last melt of 2022 until next year. I hope you all have a great weekend and Happy New Year to you all!
Hi, sir. I have the EZ Pro chopper and the gears are made of plastic. I was wondering if people like me would send you the plastic parts and you would cast it from plastic to metal for a charge?
Great work mate! :) Good to see you using proper gloves and keeping the safety cover on when using the grinder, you set a good example! Happy new year ^_^
When you pulled apart the flask and you had a lot of sand pull out I thought you would redo it. When you didn't I thought, he is going to have a lot of cleanup work to do. And then when you were working with the rotary bur you added that you spent six hours on the finishing. I thought I would rather put in the extra work on the front end to get out of the back end work.
I tried to fix it the best I could without having to redo the whole thing 🤷🏻♂️ I really didn’t think it would take that long to clean up after with the rotary tool but I was wrong. Ooops
Очень хорошее и дорогое, возможно 😂....тату... А плавильня дешёвая... Способ литья древний и некачественный. Ничего для меня интересного тут нет. Я учусь у других мастеров, которые используют современные способы литья с применением современных материалов.
Did you scale your printed patterns up to account for shrinkage in the aluminum castings? I am puzzling over the best way to create duplicates of change gears for a lathe. Any input would be appreciated.
I didn’t because they weren’t going to be used for anything. Depending on the size yours are though you might want to scale it up just a tiny bit. If it’s 3D printed, your part might not be exact due to printing tolerances so verify it before casting it.
