@@Panwere36 Not even then, it was quite popular. There is a video of Top 10 shows 1985 - 2019, and Castle managed to register from 2011 to 2014 (up to #7), against some more or less deserving behemoths (Game of Thrones, Big Bang theory, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, a.s.o.): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7DemM7UGmIg.html Data is Beautiful, as the author of that video said.
@@cspresimir , most people only count top 5 of anything. That is the point I am making. It should have been in the top five. All offense, GoT is one of THE most overrated series ever made.. _Castle_ . I especially say that with how WatchMojo fawned over the show like Scientologists still do over Hubbard's "works".
@@Panwere36 If you put it that way, yeah, it's true. P.S. For GoT, it's definitely better (and more rewarding) to read the books than watch the show. Then again, in nowadays world, who's gone read hundreds if not thousand of pages? P.P.S. Neah, Castle S8 was fine :) , it's bad if you pit it against other Castle seasons.
As much as everyone says they're opposites, they're very much similar too with respect to their interests and values and that's what matters most. Beckett actually reads the same stuff as Castle does and is able to understand his references and play along. She also watches the same movies and is into comic books like him. They have a very similar mind and think alike when it comes to murders which makes them an effective team. This banter/bickering just adds spice to their relationship I guess.
"What is it with men and boobs anyway?" "Biological, we can't help it." "But doesn't it bother you that they're so obviously not real?" "Santa's not real we still love opening his presents."
Biologically, there is no reason for boobs to be more than slightly enlarged nipples. Except, whaddya know? Men like them. They're the equivalent of peacock tails.
Why does it always come up that people claim that the second the male and female leads in a story get married that it is the death knell of the show? The idea that once the pre- sexual tension is gone they simply become an old, boring couple is the most offensive idea I can conceive! To me the idea that they are no longer lusting for one another like a pair of teenagers in the back seat of a car only adds more passion to them, not less. It was true in Lois and Clark, and in Castle as well! That they both decided to act like consenting(or openly Enthusiastic people!)adults only made it more special to me than 10 years of foreplay that ends unrequited every could! I loved every moment of Castle! I bought the series and have watched it 5 times since I did.
@@joeriley8667 Writers and directors have fostered this stupid idea for years, it might hold true for a move, so you can have a bang up ending, (pun intended), but for an ongoing series, no! Even after Beckett and Castle got together, the plots should have been written, like usual! After all, they fought like a married couple, before they got together!
It IS biological, we CAN'T help it! This is "woman's logic" from a woman, because they already wear: fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake nails, padded bras, shoulder pads, spanks and all kinds of makeup, if men really cared about fake, we would never date a woman!
I love how throughout the show, the more interested in her he gets the less creepy his flirting gets, that's just so cute and shows his growth in character.
It almost seems like Kate Beckett is played by a different actress every season from 1 to 2 and 3. Stana Katic just looks and acts so differently with her different hairstyles.
No not a diffrent the same just that she has loosend up alot since she meet Castle which is a really great thing loving Beckett now but i have always loved Beckett from the start😃 how can we not love them together
Beckett: lock Castle in the car. Castle: Beckett, you seem to have left on the central locking! Beckett: Act like a child, get treated like a child. Castle: Isn't it illegal to leave your child locked in a car?
Her hair starts out short, almost boyish--and then she grows it out. I loved this show. The balance between these two is as close to perfect as it gets. That's why followed Castle as long as I did, but dropped The Mentalist after just a few episodes. Jane was too perfect--a mary sue, in fact.
Same with Bones. She saw herself as a perfectionist who needed nothing to help her grow as a person. Even when she and Booth finally get married, she still acts the same: overbearing, egotistical, “my way or the highway.” Beckett actually grows as a character. She comes to realize Castle completes her in a way, filling in the gaps in her knowledge and helping her think outside the box. How often did his insight keep them from arresting the wrong person? Because she listened to him, instead of dogmatically sticking to the facts.
I also like to think her personality can be measured by her hairstyle. Starts off very short and dark, because she doesn’t have time for anything but work, and that’s how she keeps the pain of her mother’s unsolved death at bay. Then, as her relationship with Castle proceeds, it lengthens and lightens until we get to her long, blond locks.
I love it when she says “I’m gonna kill you.” It’s like “As you wish” for The Princess Bride. And the fear on his face when she gets off the phone and stalks towards him. Priceless.
8:35, i don't get why the writers of the show seemed to just forget that castle is a really good shot with a pistol for the rest of the show. after this scene it always looked like he had no idea how a gun worked when he picked one up, makes no sense.
Shooting a gun is one thing, being a cop in a high pressure situation is totally another thing. I think it’s good because Castle is not a cop - he is at the end of it all a novelist.
Which is why I don’t buy the “they hated each other” gossip. A: she wouldn’t stay in a job with a guy she hated. With her looks and talent, she could get other roles, and they would recast. Game of Thrones did it all the time. B: Even if they did have a problem at the end, it’s a testament to their professionalism that you can’t see that onscreen. When she tells him “I love you,” I believe her like it’s Season 5 all over again. And when he tells Major Dad he has to get home to World’s Greatest Detective, you can hear the affection in his voice. C: The fact that the final season’s episodes are still compelling despite the cutdown in Caskett scenes is also testament to the writers’ skill at crafting a scene.
Santa is not real but we still like opening his presents. I do not think I am exaggerating when I say that that is probably the greatest line in the history of time. LOL. If there was ever an argument for why a Guy would like fake breasts I think that would be the argument. Just simply a genius come back.
@@NakedSnake1836 First three shots were jokes. First one, sex joke. Second one, he hit her chin with the shell casing. Third one, a crotch joke. They were all very deliberate shots, and he hit exactly what he was aiming for.
I have watched the series all the way through ... there is no better scene than the two of them at the firing range AND I challenge anyone to point out a better one. Don't we all wish the series was still ongoing? Great characters, greater chemistry!
I soooo love the series. Usually I can tell from the start who is the murderer, but here I almost never knew. Really good show and really good acting and incredibly funny. Thanks for making this video.
R. C. Alright, so you and I are married.. K. B. We are not married.. R. C. Relax it's just pretend.. K. B. I don't want to pretend.... I just love them.. I can't imagine my life without them..
It makes you wonder, how inwardly conflicted is Beckett? She always keeps a straight face, is straight laced, to a fault. Takes the utmost care to keep Castle out of her comfort zone. But... the tell tale signs that she likes him, fantasizes about him... are clearly there. So... how conflicted is she inside? A far bit more then you would expect, I think. And... the way she bosses him around on the premesse Me adult You nine year old raskall, do as mommy says.... very cute.
Beckett always likes to be in control and the two are total opposites so thats one cause. Castle likes the thrill of annoying her, and deep down - at the very start - beckett would of enjoyed it even if it was only a little bit. And even now she still gives him the eye rolls and what not lol.
@yousuckatcooking In real life that would have never happened lol. In between her taxes and the background check for her Justice Dept job it would have been discovered long before that lol.
I think s3 and s4 are better than these two... they are all amazing but I think 3 and 4 are somehow more interesting cuz they have something more...every charactere (: btw LOVE CASTLE!
its hard to believe these two didnt get alone behind the scenes because its seems to be really hard to fake that level of chemistry yet alone for 8 seasons if its true it'll be more believable if they hated each other at the end but the whole time someone would have been replaced like original Charmed
@@williamelliot8943 I KNEW IT! No way you can fake that kind of chemistry if you hate each other! I mean, I can understand if it was true in the last season, since they spent the previous seven years probably joined at the hip, so that would grate on anyone’s nerves, but I refuse to believe they didn’t get along before that or that they aren’t on good terms now five years later.
yes they're opposites in personalities, but psychology research shows that personality is not a relevant factor when it comes to compatibility, but rather values and some important interests are, so it's important to share similar values and have the same interests in some things which Castle and Beckett do have, making them compatible for each other.
5:45 Beckette forgot that Castle wasn't a cop. Yet in the ep where he called the newspaper for vacation hold information, she claimed she never forgot.
I miss Castle sooo much Stupid Hiatus :( Oh and I would Totally have accepted the pony. Imagine Castle buying you a pony. I think I would die! And I love how Beckett says: 'But that would take forever!' haha
Reminds me of my ex. Everytime she gave me that pout face and demand. Idk wtf it was. Id just melt and do whatever she said. Still havebt figured out wtf that was. Lol
Stana and Nathan looked so much younger in seasons 1 and 2. Nathan especially looks older as he put on weight. And it takes videos like this for me to remember that Stana originally had short hair.
TVCastleAlways u should promise everyone that when the Castle show ends that u are going to keep making videos bc I and I'm sure that a lot of other people enjoy ur videos and I do not want u to stop making them. Please promise.
Yeah, it got a little too serious in the last few seasons. The light-hearted banter and their amazing chemistry is what made this show so good. I didn't need all that heavy-handed conspiracy crap.
I miss how Beckett used to be annoyed and/or surprised by him instead of finding him endearing and how Castle used to be inappropriate and silly or getting disciplined. haha Like 03:46-03:54!! LOL And 09:45-09:54 "It's Sunday morning shouldn't you be sIinking home from a scandalous liaison? Would you be jealous if I were? In your dreams. Actually in my dreams you're never jealous, in my dreams you're- [mouth stuffed w/donut]"
I don’t know why but I’ve always like that in season 1 Castle and Beckett often have color coded outfits with Castle wearing Blue and Beckett wearing red. I just wish they stuck with that theming through the whole series
Crap I think were done! Castle and becket-together forever Bones and Booth-together forever everyone on How I met your mother all we need to do is get Nick and Jess from New Girl together and then were done Love Tom
My family & I miss this program very much. The new writers ruined the theme and concept that we all liked so much.ABC should get out of running programs such as this favorite!
Is this really called flirty banter? Beckett's always annoyed at Castle, gives him disapproving looks and bosses him, I get Castle likes that, but why? Does he like her behaviour because it's challenging? Sexually arousing? Fun? And why does Beckett act like that? Is it just her personality or does it mean she's just annoyed at him or that she likes him? Anyway, they've lessened this kind of bickering now they're in love, it's more banter now
