A fantastic few hours on a stunning Sunday morning in a new location for me, Castle Cary. Linespeeds of 100, and a straight for miles, what more can you want?!
Fortunately we had XC Diverts, so some Voyagers passed with some awesome 2tones and 43378+43304 are in action working to St Austell.
FGW HSTs also thunder through this tranquil station, with several 2tones including a 'gorgeous' 2tone from 43152!
A Freight also showed, 66584, AGAIN! With 6Y29 Tiverton Loop-Eastleigh Via Westbury, running bang on-time, nearly blowing me away with it's tremendous speed!
