Hey guys what is up, OJ here and welcome back to another video. In this video, we will be having a discussion about what is the best weapon in the game Castle Crashers. The thumbnail should give it away, but I'm actually going to dig deep into why the weapon in this video is the best. Not to mention doing a weapon damage comparison, as well as other things. Crits are only really useful for single targets/bosses, as when you're juggling a group of enemies, optimally you're only going to drop them when they're all dead. Critting one enemy out of the group you're juggling isn't going to help in the long run. So the best weapon is the Man Catcher as it gives more strength so it has more consistent damage output, but the NG Gold Sword and Wooden Club are basically just as good

Mmmm, ok I see what you’re saying & I thank you for your feedback dude. Although, when you’re juggling a group of enemies, don’t the Crits spread out amongst the enemies you are juggling? & alright, and so basically since the man catcher, bear club, and ng gold sword have more strength points, they would be better for consistent damage to multiple groups of enemies? In that case, does crit not matter?

@@OJkamo Crits don't spread out equally among a group, because they're luck based. And yeah, +5 strength weapons would be more consistent than the GSM but wouldn't be as good for single target

Yeah it’s ok, most players do that. I know I used to lol. Don’t get me wrong though, other top tier weapons like man catcher, club, NG gold sword are decent too. They just have their own purposes.

Just to clear some things up, just because the gold skull mace is considered the best doesn’t mean you should use it. I only recommend this weapon if you want all out strength, barely get hit, and are in insane mode. I would say the general rule of thumb is to use the mancatcher when you lack strength points, and use the gold skull when you have maxed out strength points and are at a higher level to maximize your damage. Overall, it all comes down to preference. If you have any feedback then let me know. EDIT: As stated by TheWorst, it turns out the man catcher is actually the best weapon in the game. This is because the man catcher along with the bear club and NG Gold sword provide consistent damage. Making them good for battling multiple groups of enemies. However, the gold skull mace is still an amazing weapon. Especially against single target enemies.

Club is my main weapon since it’s my favorite weapon. It no longer can crit sadly :( but agility has been improved

Club is still an excellent weapon choice as it deals a considerable amount of damage. Don’t discount it man it’s still good!

Great video! I started playing a few days ago and I already maxed out a character (red knight) for stats and I could barely do insane mode, I couldn’t pass the industrial castle or the lava world area. Any tips and tricks on it? I’m trying to get the industrializer to help me out but I often times can’t donmuch

Thanks! Also I see your struggles and just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone! Insane mode can be very tough, especially for new players. Luckily I have a video on the industrial castle that you could watch and try to get some tips from! Industrial castle video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LzptJq67bZc.html Extra tips - Learning the lightweight juggle will help you out tremendously. It also helps to try and avoid the enemies that throw the bombs. Be sure to bring 5 potions. Here’s a lava world video with tips by one of my good friends v motionz! I also suggest you check him out. @@OJkamo This is great! Thanks. I do have one more question, I'm a a pc player and I use a keyboard and mouse, is it possible to juggle infinitely or for long periods of time with it? I can't even somehow infinite jump with the keyboard and mouse

@@user-ph1lu1gh1u Hmmm, I’m pretty sure it’s possible. However I’m not sure since I’ve never played keyboard and mouse. The best advice I could give is to practice, as you will gain muscle memory.

In my opinion if you’re more of a casual player you should use the man catcher because it would carry you a little bit more because of your casual not saying your bad ok, thats good at the game you’re probably gonna need the defense, If you’re a pretty good player then use the gold skull because even though it only gets Three power it’s still has a high critical chance and for average players they probably die more than better players so we would probably need to defend are self more than the higher critical hit chance. And for my opinion I think The man catcher and gold skull are equal it kind of just depends on the player if you spam magic word then use the man catcher cuz your going to need the defense to stay alive to use magic a lot if your in combos and melee attacks then use the skull mace it’s INSANE for melee but there Equal in my opinion they both have their specialties

For the original version the best weapon overall is the Bear Club. If you don't want -5 agility then any other +5 strength weapon works just as well. As for the Insane Store, it's not on X360. Don't worry though, everything the extra DLCs add are mediocre with the exception of the Necromancer character. All of the weapons in them are significantly nerfed on original.

Although gsm technically has higher dps, it just isn't better than the man catcher. Mathematically, gsm only does 1.06 more damage per 100 hits (assuming base damage is 50). That's not worth losing the 2 defense.

Just all depends on if you want more crits and less defense. Defense doesn’t make much of a difference in insane mode. Just my opinion. But yeah I see what you mean.
