i still have a little flint arrow head i found up there in the 1970s. the find was recorded in the tolson museum.

I was born and raised in Huddersfield and didn't know any of the history. Visited the pub many times.

The Castle Hill Hotel was knocked down by the developers against planning regulations I believe the road was driven in the landlord 🤔

The Laird's planned town on the top of a waterless hill finally gasps its last around 1350. I wonder what might have pushed it over the edge? 🤔
