No, just a different kind of beauty from another age. Anyway one can immediately tell you are as common as muck, the sort of person that buys their own furniture. Not like wot us upper class is like.
My Great Grandmother was a Hyde from Ireland but walked out of the house one day & disappeared when my Grandmother was about 18 months old & never came back. Would love to find out more but nobody in the family seems to know anything.

The exterior was beautiful, the interior Trumpian - too much gilding everywhere, ostentatiously opulent. What a shame the elegant exterior was not matched inside.

@@white_clover767 lol...I didn't mean a literal Russian oligarch. I used the term to describe the horrible choices made for the decor. It LOOKS as if a Russian oligarch/Middle east oil sheik decorated the place in nouveau riche ostentation.
