I imagine that armour with all the rivets in the making. "My lord, as you requested, we added some rivets." "More..." "But..." "MORE!"

Absolutely amazing video guys. You've really, really outdone yourselves with this one. I was half expecting a Shadiversity reference with the holes in the walls. Most of us will know the one.

@@pursuingtheknightlyarts6841 With closed visor, you see nearly nothing. Unbelievable that the knights were fighting in that way. On a medieval battlefield, you don`t know/see your enemy or friend. It must be a very random way of fighting.

The Armor he said was for a Child was the Armor of the Castle chester. Like a little clown. He was only 70 cm tall. He was part of their Entertainment. He also went to Battles with the Herzogs. That is why he had his own Suit of Armor.

Thank you guys ! I find museum videos are usually not entertaining to watch, but with the commentaries this one was just fine :) It really makes me want to visit Veste Coburg.

Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed it 😀 First time I've ever done this, so it was new territory for me. Felt it was neccessary, as they're a lot if pieces that were out of the norm. -Reece

What an amazing opprotunity! Thank you for sharing with us. I would like to point out that the firearms shown are matchlocks not flint-locks. Match locks fire by a coil spring turning a wheel , like a modern bic lighter. While flintlocks make a spark by striking a flint thats attached to the hammer(which is much more reliable and is why wheel locks went the way of the dodo). Thanks again love your channel!

Ah! Thanks for clarifying that for me. I admit, that's not my expertise. I'm an armour nerd 😜 Thanks for the compliment! Glade you enjoyed it! -Reece

The small armory was made for the dukes consultant, not a child, he was of short stature
@doncyrene2543

He was NOT a Consultant. He was the " Hof Narr ". A Joker. lol.

That child's armour? At that time would some armourers have made miniaturised version of full sets of armour to showcase /pitch ideas?

The breastplates that come into frame at 5 minutes 38 seconds look really short, like they don't look like they'd extend as far down as the maximillian breastplate in the same frame. Is this actually the case and do you know why? If it terminates further up you wouldn't have it rest on the hips so if it's the case I can't think of why.

On a lot of horse bardings I see round protrusions on the front plates. They come into frame at 10:51 in this video. Do you think they had any purpose or was it just something they liked the look of?
@doncyrene2543

This Horses been made by Taxidermists. The Armors have actually been used in Battles and Competitions.
