i love the flute bit and the heavy percussion at the end. it is my all time favorite moment in music history. nothing else in music period sounds better to me than that part in this song. it hits a frequency that resounds my soul in a way that I cannot comprehend or begin to understand. csv4 bloody tears is the best of the bloody tear versions out there, and one of the best songs ever made
@@caminopreacher5958 That and they put gaibon and slogra in the show. and werewolf and giant bat but theyre less cool. Vampire killed played in that episode too i think.
So many of the artist from back then need to be recocgnized way more. Especially Yamashita, because she tried to write the music like it was an orchestre. No wonder the Castlevania orechtral versions from Play! and the Castlevania concert sound so amazing.
What?! Over 9000?! There's no way it can be right, cut it! (That was a joke, i was just referencing that scene from Dragon Ball, i actually think it's a very nostalgic music)
JustAldric I have yet to play Zero mission, so i can't comment on that. I'd prefer if they went the same way as *Halo:Anniversary*, the remade oh Halo:Combat evolved. In Halo Anniversary you could toggle between the new graphics and the original ones. I'd love that, it gives the ability to play the original game as it is and a new version. Sadly remakes like that are tricky to make, i assume.
if you liked the first metroid (or at least you know about how it goes), you should get either a gba or a gba emulator and play zero mission, it's worth it, and (I'm not sure about this) they present you with Zero Suit Samus after you beat the "First Metroid remake" part, and you get to play as her
This is the best castlevania game of all time and I still play is on my old Snes. It has the best music of all the vania games and by god I love that Snes bass thump And for some reason No other Castlevania game has ever scared me as much as this one,it has a menacing sence of dread about it.
Since everyone else here is arguing, I guess I should give my 2 cents as well. I think that the reason the older Castlevania games better is because that was how Castlevania was meant to be played. It was just you and the game. You beat it with your mind and your reflexes, not with swords so big they make Cloud's sword look like a popsicle stick.
+Then00bhunt3r I can't think of many swords in any of the newer RPG Castlevanias that put the Buster Sword to shame in terms of size. Claimh Solais is the only one that comes to mind, and even then, it's more on the same level and not bigger.
If this played at the beginning of the game instead of the end it wouldn't be as powerful as it is. However I do kinda wish more og songs were used in the levels like maybe nothing to lose or wicked child added into the game
Agreed, the designers made the absolute correct choice when they decided to place this where they did. Back when this released, there was no RU-vid or playthrough videos to give away the fact they'd used the best theme of Castlevania 2 in a recreating of one of the most memorable levels of Castlevania 1 right near the climax of the game. Absolute brilliance.
whoa, I completely forgot that Castlevania 4 had this! No wonder it's so nostalgic to me! I used to have Castlevania 1 and 3 on the NES, and 4 on the SNES. I played Dawn of Sorrow, and heard this theme which was apparently from Castlevania 2, and I couldn't explain the nostalgia it brought--- until now. Apparently back when I was like, 2, my older brother got way further in Castlevania 4 than I did and I overheard this very song... thanks for the revelation dude :D
Castlevania: suffice it to say that name to hear wonderful memories from players. Building on the reputation of the series, the game turns out to be simply a must-have KONAMI
I feel like ive heard that main riff in a past life or something.... Reaches way down into the core of my soul and punches somewhere beyond our plane of existence! Get goosebumps eveey time I hear it.
Considering the fact that Simon was a main character along with Captain N., I whole-heartedly agree. Unless it was a cameo, Simon has not been the main protagonist of any Castlevania game outside of Nintendo and Tiger-handheld LCD games. I think Simon should ABSOLUTELY be in the next Super Smash Brothers. And he should be able to rip cold roast beef out of a stone wall whenever he's hungry.
kid born in 1982. an old-original-gamer + like the rest of my brothers + sisters during that 80's era, we helped nintendo become a worldwide household name that it is today. i played the original castlevania games for the nes, but i regret not playing scsv4 for the snes + the rest of the csv franchise. young gamers of this new gaming era, don't be like me! its more nostalgic when you're a kid + or a teen, playing video games. as it was for me during the 80's with my nes.
this is by far my favourite and the best version of bloody tears. I want to hear a remake/cover that is loyal to the CSV4 version and none else. All I ever seem to hear on youtube is simon's quest covers, aand in this case, it just can't compare to the version that followed. my favourite moment in music history is that part at the end with the flute and bass drums, so transcendant and epic. if anyone knows of an awesome cover that is loyal to this version alone, please let me know.
So sad and so Beautiful . . .this song never gets old you really touched my soul with it. Long live Castlevania . . . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I took a shot at them. And guess what? They're fucking great. Don't talk shit about games you haven't even played, just because those weren't the games you grew up with.
It is time once more to pay tribute to the sound card of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the prototype for which I'm strongly convinced was an emissary from the future, a prophet of what technology could become.
@LordNothing BOX ART, there is a diference in concept/game art inside the game (or in a website idunno) and the art that is printed on the box where the game is held in.
Agreed on all sentiments... Castlevania Symphony of the Night had anime, but retained that element of horror and macabre... don't worry; SOME of us will ALWAYS remember the old games, old school...
Umm Bro, Super Castlevania 4 is one of the best games on the super Nintendo AND THAT"S SAYING SOMETHING. The newer games will never be able to capture that same nostalgic platforming perfection.
