The Netflix series also help getting new fans into buying and trying out the game series as well. Including myself, even though the show is very different than from the game, it’s still a great introduction to the series

They did release a new game 3 years ago, it was shown on the video. Grimoire of Souls was actually real good, sadly it's exclusive to Apple Arcade now.

I loved the version of SotN that was in the Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles PSP version because you could play as Maria but it was vastly different from the Sega Saturn version of SotN that also had Maria as a playable character. The Pachinko Castlevania games got no love lol

I'm currently trying to speedrun Castlevania. Completed Castlevania 1 and 2, currently on 3 which gives me constant headache and rage fuel due to how hard it is. Castlevania games where you only rely on your whip and barely helpful power ups are the best. I'll probably get really bored once I reach SOTN.

U Can do The SOUL STEAL & other Secret Moves 2 Beat The Enemy & keep U'r Life Bar Always FULL .. Lament Of Innocent Is Smooth in Movement & Graphic ..[ There are Secrets too inside ..Inf.Item in Front Of The Window in Save Room ] .. Loved it! I did want to add one thing . A forgotten gem called Black Tiger, a Capcom arcade title that never really became a big deal on home consoles had a similar ‘whip’/mace mechanic even though it was pretty different otherwise, being more fantasy themed. However, the cover art for Black Tiger is strikingly similar to Castlevania’s. I wonder who got there first! This was wonderful nostalgi.

Castlevania: Resurrection was cancelled, the footage comes from a leaked dev build. Aria and Dawn of Sorrow were released on java mobiles too (though very different games than in Nintendo handhelds), in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Grimoire or Souls was also only released as a closed beta on 2018, having it's softlaunch on 2019 (Canada only) and official release on 2021 for Apple Arcade. There's also Castlevania: Moonlight Rhapsody, which was also a closed beta in 2020 (China only).

I think 3d castlevania is fine its just they did not do the whip right until Los. I mean just grab a whip and use it. Its main perk beside range is the attack arch. Unlike other weapons you dont need much accuracy training with a whip.

No me funen pero Castlevania 64 me parece el mejor de todos, los 2D están bien, y como una persona que nunca los jugó no los puedo juzgar, sin embargo, esa vibra y esa ambientación de los dos juegos de la 64 son únicos, su único pecado fue los malos controles, pero ese gameplay tan natural, sin numeros locos ni movimientos sobrehumanos exagerados como los últomos 3D aburridos, es único.
