Julius Belmont I give you credit for defeating Dracula. How did you defeat him? Did you use the Vampire Killer whip? Vials of Holy Water? The Grand Cross ability? How did you do it?
Hey Julius, how did you defeated Dracula? Did you, Lenora, and Alucard team up like your ancestor Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard did in 1476? What is your secret? How did you finish him off for good?
>Only belmont with facial hair. >Can backdash THROUGH enemies. >Uses/changes subweapons at will. >Tossed Dracula into the sun like he was a bit of paper being thrown into a bin.
Well actually Julius says clearly when he regains his memory and reveals he was the one who sealed Dracula away then quote on quote "Yes it was me, but there were others that assisted me." Although when you get any of the endings to aria of sorrow and start a new file, type Julius as the name to play as Julius!
@@gjtrue he is 50 yo , he can technically had a kid , but hardly that would happen. Even if he did that , he would be old to actually train , so the kid would be nerfed. His time period is of Cruz , Soma Cruz is Dracula's reincarnation , that defeats the other candidates of Dracula's power to make right of his previous life.
Most importantly is that Soma canonically isn't Dracula, so even if another Dark Lord rises as Alucard stares will inevitably happen, the Belmonts don't have to fight it.
can you imagine how difficult it would be to make a game that has THAT much hype behind it? your going to piss of alot of people no matter what just look at duke nukem forever
We had Julius Mode in Dawn of Sorrow, which was its actual own story rather then just RUN AROUND AND KILL THE FINAL BOSS HAVE FUN like most AltPlayer modes in CV
No Julius first, whipped Dracula's legs off, then dropped holy water on him, then chopped his hands off then staked him, then grabbed his head and made him read twilight. the Sheer horror of it Made Dracula Die forever, and reincarnate as a schoolboy. and how did Julius get a twilight book in 1999? screw the timeline he's JULIUS BELMONT.
James Cody Julius is the strongest Belmont, and not by a small margin. His Holy Cross could make part of Castlevania collapse - when he was 50 years old.
Julius Belmont - the most powerful Vampire Hunter to ever live and the one that finally defeated the Lord of the Night, King of Vampires, Dracula Vlad Tepes.
Julius belmont is actually chuck norris's first attempt at cosplaying as a belmont. the problem was, you couldn't possibly cosplay as your own descendants, no matter how hard you tried. Chuck norris, never one to be beaten by logic, stared down his memories after beating dracula once and for all, and the memories, fearing for their lives, fled to the furthest corners of the universe, only leaving him with the letter "j" which, contrary to popular belief, didn't spell his name, rather, they were part of dracula's last, and only words to chuck norris belmont. which were "JESUS SAVE MEEE!!!!-" and then dracula exploded. chuck norris never remembered his past, he simply scared the universe into believing he was his own descendant.
If Simon knew about the Fang of Vlad he could of ended the cycle too. Plus, the original Heart of fire from Castlevania 1 is way better than this song.
The manliest Belmont since Simon. Simon may have killed Dracula once, then did it again after collecting his body parts and re-ressurecting him WHILE DYING FROM A CURSE but only Julius can kick as much ass in his 50's and is one of the few Belmonts to show up 3 canonical times (Richter has Rondo of Blood, SotN, and his memory in PoR) in the as-yet unreleased battle of 1999, then AoS, and finally in DoS--again in his 50's during the 2 'sorrow games.
Never have I ever played a videogame and the MOMENT I hear the music it gets me genuinely hyped and excited, even though it’s like my 3rd time playing, Third Strike come pretty damn close
Ever-serious, dedicated, loyal to both his friends and family, and most importantly... extremely powerful. In Aria of Sorrow, he canonically was able to match "awakened" Soma's powers despite: being just awoken from amnesia, hadn't fought once for the previous 36 years (excluding potential weak critets), and he was holding back the whole time - not wishing to hurt Soma... but still, his Grand Cross dealt heavy damage to Dracula's Castle, causing it to partially crumble with every use. In Dawn of Sorrow, he was able to defeat every monster at ease, even without Magic Seals, which were a necessity to kill them for good; only being stopped by Dario, whos' soul was fused with great fire demon Aguni - but judging by the dialogues, was Julius knowing how to cast Magic Seals, he would defeat Dario a few times before getting tired. He is one of the strongest characters in Castelvania canon, and it is despite being far out of his prime.
I’d like to remind everyone this man, who was 56 and an amnesiac, was able to keep up with Soma Cruz throughout the castle with nothing but his sub weapons. Absolute legend
@@dorianjames3202 Dude I can't even imagine how freakishly over powered Julius and Yoko's children would be if they ever hooked up. Remember how much the Belmont bloodline grew in strength when the Belnades bloodline was added onto it through Trevor's marriage with Sypha. It's a canon fact that if Julius were to ever have a kid that child would surpass even him in power since the Belmont bloodline grows even stronger with every new generation, and considering Julius' power level that is saying a LOT. A fresh dose of Belnades blood courtesy of Yoko would result into a vampire hunter that would be absolutely broken even by Belmont standarts. Just think about that for a second.
@@dorianjames3202 Yes I did. Also I'm amazed that you replied so quickly to my reply considering how your original comment is a year old. P. S: Is it wierd that I ship Julius and Yoko? I know that there is a pretty big age gap between them(altough their 30 years gap doesn't hold a candle to the gap of hundreds of years between Alucard and Maria) but I still think they would good together. Not as good as Jonathan and Charlotte but pretty good nonetheless.
Saludos
Richter belmont. Definition, noun. The only logical solution to when a more useful and badass belmont can't be found, used only as a last resort, he almost always gets his ass handed to him by anything other than dracula. like his son, or shaft, his priest, or medusa heads, or succubi, honestly, he can die in three hits at times. trades this for sheer attack power and the ability to overcharge all subweapons. the paper tiger of the belmont clan, he is most vulnerable to possession. and succubi.
we dont really know what happen in 1999, I mean we dont know if Julius destroyed dracula by himself or if he had help doing it. Konami really needs to make a game for Julius.
@shadow94ful No, no han sacado juego de tal batalla, en Haunted Castle el protagonista es Simon Belmont, es considerado como remake de castlevania pero para arcade, el Castlevania sobre la batalla de 1999 no existe.
u know, Julius is the only belmont who could keep the promise that Leon made to Joachim, also I hated that in Dawn of Sorrow, Julius didn´t have the backdash or invincibility frame/reach in his uppercut as he had in Aria of sorrow. Also, he looks badass in Harmony of Despair
Though the original comment was who was the best Belmont :D . I will also say Soma (yes he is powerful and I really like him as a character heck I play as him in Harmony of Despair and Serio's Castlevania Fighter) admitted that Julius took it easy on him.
one musnt forget richter. he was the guy who wielded it BEFORE julius. (virtually pushing ol fangy to death) and was so baddass, that just seeing him CRUCIFY HIMSELF will kill you. (its the cross's duel crush)
Soma, with regret, I must stop you here and now. Your reign as Dracula will be as short as my patience is for everything evil. Prepare yourself, the vampire killer is calling.
Soma Cruz isn't a Belmont.... Picking a favorite Belmont for me is personally hard: Simon and Trevor: Were the originals that everyone knew who they were. Richter: Hydro Storm!, need I say more? Leon: Was the first Belmont so I have to respect his struggle, got to say anyone whose willing to sacrifice his love to become the ultimate weapon against vampires/anyone whose affiliated with vampires (i.e. Death) gets respect in my book. Julius: Destroyed Dracula forever Juste:I didn't like HoD
1:52 in this picture I can recognize Trevor, Leon and Simon in the first row, Juste in the second and Richter and Julius in the third, are the other two Christopher and Soleiyu? Where's Gabriel btw?
LMAO! Yeha, Richter is not that great of a Belmont... But think about it: he wears a bandana and he is able to make it RAIN inside of a FUCKING BUILDING! Not even Simon could do that xD And Julius... Well, he fights like Richter in his 40's... Imagine him at his peak, 19 years old, fighting Dracula in 1999? Possible the strongest Belmont to ever live.
Julius belmont once made a bet with mercury steam. If they lost the bet with him then they would have to give up trying to make a next gen castlevania in favor of his idea for a reboot. I DON'T SEE ANY NEXT GEN MAIN CANON CASTLEVANIAS DO YOU?!?!
In the bible, they made a typo, it was supposed to be Julius* not Jesus, he whipped all the romans to hell and he now is who we worship as 'Jesus'. You can totally recognize the beard.
