@@silentvoice6737 It has aged REALLY well. Played it for the first time last year as my first Castlevania game and had a blast with it. I even bothered getting every single monster's soul
It is a fantastic Castlevania game. I played the first Castlevania game in like 1991. I have grown up with the franchise. This version of Castlevania does not disappoint and lives up to the standards of the lineage
The funny thing was that I played this game as a little kid then quit at the giant one-eyed man. Played again a couple years later and got stuck a while before the end. Then some other time I came back and beat it- with the bad end. So last year I decided to look up online about this game- for the first time (I'm so proud of my baby-self!)! After searching online I got all of the endings. Finally this year I went back and beat it with Julius... Therefore... I literally wasted my whole life on this game... :D
Haha, i stuck on Harmony of Dissonance as a kid, but came back many years later and completed it as an adult xD. And my take-home message is: why was I so dumb back then?
Meanwhile my childhood was based on Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. And after years on getting stuck at one of its maps I continue my adventure....**sobs** I wish it was longer...
Trevor Dash I played this when i was 15. Although i've never got stuck in a Castlevania, at least not for more than 20 min. i believe. c: And growing with the saga i was used to multiple endings, so after the bad one, it took me like 2 hours to figure out the good one. Good Times !!!
55:19 - "Hearth of Fire" One of the BEST musics on ALL Castlevania games... I still remember getting goosebumps when Fighting Julius Belmont while listening to it!
Used to have this game with the save battery not working. Played it so many times non-stop. Could beat it from start to end in like 1 hour, if i got the right souls on first try. Sadly, becoming good at it made gameplay easy and predictable, but it is still a very special and dear game to me.
SoTN IS the best alright. But from the GBA world I would like to put Harmony of Dissonance in first place, Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the moon in that order.

1:10:40 I’ll never forget that one even though in my opinion, it’s a kind of OK spirit the fact that he says that is amazing and even though this game is 2003 I love this game
Mane I know we are still 10 years away from 2035, but lemme tell you. IGA predicted the turtlenecks and chains and fur PERFECTLY. Also: Always hilarious to hear the "TOOOAST-AAAAH"
You you put "sound effects" i expect more than voice samples.. in fact, why not just have had the name of the video be "Castlevania Aria of Sorrow OST FULL + Voice Samples? I'm trying to find some of the sound effects for things like explosions collecting and such.
Don't mean to meme here, I've just legitimately never played the game and I'm curious, but in the context of the game, is 1:10:40 an intentional JoJo reference? Or just a coincidence, like the "Muda" that comes before it?
A bit late... but yeah, the "ora ora ora!" is a reference. "Muda!" COULD be, but it just means "Useless!" in japanese, so I don't know if it's meant to be a reference.
