Yeah, especially because the enemy ai isn't nearly as predictable as in other games. You can't just run past them, you can't fight them, and they have a ton of mobility, _and_ they shoot projectiles.
I beat the Hallway part on my first try, but this part.... nothing but getting constantly knocked off by the bats. The only thing that kept me going was the music. It was telling me that I was so close to the end.
To be fair, stage 5 could be broken with holy water. Not as easy with this stage, even if the stopwatch helps it takes 5 ammo instead of 1, so it runs out way more quickly.
Difference is, the hallway is just a tiny section of a level. That small section caused more deaths than any other area of the game...at least thats how I experienced it🤷🏻
I love how absolutely 80s NES this sounds, like NES composers were good at this point but had yet to really push the NES sound chip HARD like they would later in the 90s
Awesome tune very creative epic love the 8 bit suspense adds a lot effect to it this is the final stage and original castlevania from 1987 maybe 1986 .
Nintony Wrong, there are 6 levels, but each level has a select amount of stages each starting when you enter a checkpoint, so there are a total of 15 stages spanning across the first 5 levels before this. I just responded to a 7 year old comment
@@agreentako4276 Yeah and hope a bat doesn't swoop at you right next to a pit. Or hit you from underneath. And try not to run out of hearts for the stopwatch. All minor details...
