Set my alarm at 4 am just to get to see this run live and it was so worth it. So glad to see you on the SDGQ-stage live. Amazing run and great commentary!

I caught this live by chance without knowing this randomizer community existed, and a day later I look up the vod and catch the upload by 5 minutes. The timing is uncanny. Awesome run btw. Really interesting mental and adaptive challenge. Even with the unlucky relic spawns, it was super entertaining to watch.

Just played this for the first time over the past couple days. I always try games from GDQ. Holy crap what a fun game. I found a weapon called crissaegrim. Holy crap what a busted weapon. Anyway, awesome run amazing game. I can't believe I never played it earlier in my life

the legend of Gurthang is actually the best story of Tolkien's Silmarillion. It's the Sword featured in a story called the Children of Hurin and it's absolutely the darkest thing he ever wrote. If you enjoy fantasy especially with a rather twisted edge, you should definitely read it.

That's so crazy about using the 2nd player controller for destroying the bridge! It makes you wonder how many other old school PS1 or maybe Super Nintendo games have things that haven't been discovered just because no one's ever tried using a 2nd controller. Very interesting!

well the darkest thing Tolkien wrote besides the passage "Come not between the Nazgul and it's prey, or it will not slay thee in thy turn, but will carry thee away to the houses of Lamentation, beyond all Darkness where thy flesh shall be devoured and thy shriveled mind be left quaking before the Lidless Eye" yeah he gets a lot of hate as a safe writer..but that passage is absolutely fucking metal, made more so by the fact that the horror imagery in his work was so sparse.
