Great commentary and explanation. I really like speed run content like that where things are explained as they happen. It gives context and sometimes a little history to why things are done a certain way.

I love this game so much and have conquered it several times on different platforms... But I've NEVER seen a speedrun and it broke my brain... Incredible video. The glitches melted my mind, but it doesn't matter because the precision required to pull this off is almost robotic. Wow, awesome work. You put my devotion to SotN to shame.

So I have a question. On the way back to the clock room after getting the wolf, why don't you do another "big throw" off the center of the room enemy? Wouldn't that be faster than backdashing and attacking the last couple of enemies?

Question.. yesterday i saw a video for the SOTN glitches, and the final battle was done using the shield rod + alucard shield. Dracula seems to go down way faster. I guess you waste more time if you go to pickup the shield rod? Don't be mad if it seems a dumb question :)

18:00 I love, how they messed up the background in the US and EU Release of the 360 Version of SotN. It is actually still in tact in the Japanese 360 release. I even think, in one of the EU releases, they even messed up the textbox... I think it's the german version which misses the blue background.
