DISCLAIMER: Before you post a comment about how easy you think this game looks, please actually play the game or a read a review. This video is a special case of a great player using every exploit. I promise that this game is hard as fuck and will challenge you in ways that you probably haven't been challenged by a game since the 1990's.
That's, right. I'm playing right now and it's fucking hard, but hey, I love it. Like you said before it has a real challenge, sometimes you only through pass the levels by luck, because there are tons of respawn enemies or other things that kill you unjustly.
Man, great job!!! What a wonderful game! I can tell you, because I finished playing it last night! And I will play many more times !!! Waiting for the second :)
which one was the one where you could play as the kid with the spear? not judgement, it was an arcade style one also, you blink with most of these fights and you miss them
This is Efrain Lecarde, and yes, we all know Eric from Bloodlines and Portrait of Ruin, but this ancestor had a whip before getting a sword from the pope, and after the sequel, THAT is when the Lecarde Family uses the Alucard Spear.
Don't you think Dracula has been killed enough? Give the guy a break. If you're that disappointed you have over a dozen other Castlevania games you can kill him in. Mig was kind enough to give Dracula a vacation and players a fresh villain to face. I don't see how that is disappointing. He took the time to create a unique villain here. This is something to praise him for, not cry about.
You misunderstand. I am not crying about it, it's just that Castlevania = Dracula. But this game is a side story, so I get where Mig is coming from by not including the main villain in this side story. However, this does beg the question... Why include Death, then?
Dracula ordered Death to use the Viltheim to destroy Efrain, knowing he was a brave warrior and could be a future problem for him! Mig just wanted to show it in a subtle way. Give Dracula time! He needs to regain his strength, poor, then wake up recovered. Yes, Dracula will return soon! (And, I´m ready).
I might just skip this one, mostly because the platforming is too difficult and it's not a full Metroidvania. I also don't like that the last boss isn't Dracula though. I will probably play the sequel however since it is a full Metroidvania and looks more manageable difficulty wise.
Wait MIG is this the developer Channel? I know 1 of the main developer is called MIG can anyone tell me if this is their channel ? Cos i need to give HUGE HUGS to the people responsible for this 2 great castlevania chronicles games
Bailey the brony He is Wilhelm Von Viltheim (AKA Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart JK i dunno if they are related) He is a composer and a member of the Von Viltheim family!
Azdrerios RU-vid allows you to vote on your own comment, of course I'm gonna stand by what I say. In this case I'm disagreeing with the idea that LC1 is as easy as SOTN. Anyone who's actually played LC1 would know how absurd that comment is.
Jeffrey Montoya Well, to be fair, most of the bosses in this game look ridiculously easy. Why do 80% of them die in a few freaking seconds? At least in SOTN the bosses lasted a little bit longer, even if their attacks were hopelessly underpowered. Here you just chuck a couple of Holy Waters at them and they explode.
Azdrerios The player has used every power up and exploit in the game. This is not even remotely close to how the fights go for an average player. Again, actually play the game and you will get what I'm saying right away. LC1 is easily one of the hardest CV's out there. Mig had to add easy modes because it was too much for some people. This RU-vid video is giving people the wrong idea. I don't think that one of these people complaining that it looks too easy have actually played it.
Yep, suppossedly is one of the best fan-made games because is the work of a single-man... Also it's an original story, implements TLOZ/Castlevania OoE village-like... And the bosses are 'originals' but since I haven't played/seen all the bosses from Castlevania series I can't deny/affirm that
The graphics are okay, but boy, are these boss battles short. Why the hell does a single subweapon hit deal damage equal to 1/5 of the boss health bar?
It's actually a very difficult game, much on the level of the classical castlevanias. You're seeing a relative of the developer using every exploit and enemy weakness available to get close to an optimum fight.
It's not easy you fool, it's hard as hell in every dificulty level just like every CV related game , the player of this video just made it look easy thanks to his reflexes and with the help of all the unlocked power ups from the game to beat the bosses faster.
"Look at people who beat the hard game with the most difficulty so easily on the video, you'll think the game is pretty easy. Try it for yourself with the most difficulty, you'll understand how hard the game is and how good the players are."
Snake Tank Players actually complained about the difficulty and asked for an easy mode. This video is incredibly deceiving about that. Why don't you play the game for yourself before you draw conclusions?
