that's how it's done ! you catch far more mullet easier wading than from a boat when scrapping mullet that's how I do it too very efficient and effective 👍👍
well yes, most of the time we are in 8-30ft of water when we are catching hundreds in a throw, you need a lot of weight for that net to sink fast and pin the fish down to the bottom while you brail them in, usually throw 12 and 14ft nets with at least 2lbs per foot, so 12ft 24lbs, 14ft 28lbs.....but in nut deep water you would have to be superman to throw a 28lb cast net
the ocean is not running out of fish I've done this my whole life and seen good and bad years . I've seen catastrophic red tides that I thought killed everything and what do you know within a couple of years it's back to normal it's been like that forever and when you and I are long dead and gone fish will still be here
