I began my Bible study with the book Jen Wilken wrote on Genesis 1-11. I am now studying every book of the Bible in order. Jen lit my desire to study on fire. I now buy study guides written by women to help me through the books. I preordered Jen’s book on Revelation. I am so excited!❤
Thank you so much for your faithful and skillful sharing of the state of Bible study in local churches and small group. It is the same situation in the UK. We women can be emotional thus can miss out on the wealth of wisdom from the Bible via Sunday school and small group. I pray for more faithful and wise women leaders like yourself be raised up. We are in need of Esther's and Joshua generation who love, live and breath the words. This be the light and salt of the generations to come🙏✝️💯
I would have loved a more clear definition of what a kinder, gentler complementarianism means exactly. I would also love Jen’s interpretation of I Timothy 2:11-15 in light of her authority over men’s and women’s learning curriculum. No reason to avoid it since the Scripture is what it is. Really enjoyed the conversation overall.
Funny how we take her responsibility for curriculum as a servant of the church to transmogrify it into 'authority'. How we love the world's hierarchies and power concepts. But the church is not like this. We are all but servants delivering out gifts for the mission of the church. Gal 3:28 applies.

@@SEBTS Two years ago I got out Word of Faith Movement cult in Japan. Because 6 years ago in the private school I was attending, there was sebts graduate Bible teacher was there. He shared the true gospel with me through J.D Greear's book. If Lord's willing I will love to come as international student and start young generation ministry in Japan.
