It's great that more people are talking about it and taking it seriously, but it's also toxic that people are fetishizing it and centering their mere existence around it. The Pokemon Badges remark is hilarious, and the same comparison could be made about the number of medications people take. Although it is a generalization, pretty much all of my friends talk about their mental illness and medication whenever we hang. But honestly, if talking about it helps, then more power to you.
