The grenade jump he did to boost up a couple levels caused him to skip a trigger that spawns more enemies in the shuttle bay. This causes the game to think the ending criteria for the level has been met early since those enemies have already been "killed" by not existing in the first place.
It's more than just dialogue. Theres a trigger at the lift section that checks if there are any marines alive in the level. If not, then you'll get reinforcements. Not having reinforcements loses 45 seconds, since you'll need to wait for them after killing hunters. This isn't a problem if you grab the camo, since you also get reinforcements if you're not in combat when hitting the trigger, but getting camo loses a lot of time.
