Thanks for the comment. It's a good size and came in good shape, ready to work. I actually have it for my excavation/tiling/dirt work business. In this video I was actually doing a job for someone (removing trees to burn and hauling off any extra brush) but also use it on our farm too.
You should level off the machine more to get better pull on the stump. You can tell the operator is inexperienced because the boom is extended far from the machine throwing it off balance. keep it tight in and slow movements, then you'll be good to go.
A lot of the comments on here prove why there are so few people moving into the building industry. There is literally a drain in the western world of talent in construction because most are so quick to jump up and down and say that's done badly, don't let them do it. No one seems willing to teach or offer good advice.
I never see anyone using the bucket back as a fulcrum to lever out stumps. Get the teeth under the stump or root, curl the bucket in and push down with the boom at the same time. It gives a noticeable amount more power to break the stump loose.
if you would take the little bit of time it would take to cripple the the root wad before you start pushing, usually the the tree and the root wad will stay together. your productivity would go way up. dig one deep bucket on the tree sides you can get to. try to get some of the lateral roots in that process. back up stretch the boom and stick straight out, roll the bucket out and push as high up as you can with the boom stretched out. track forward, and the root wad will pop right up still attached to the tree. the way you are doing it in this video, your productivity sucks!
BLACK EARTH EXCAVATION hey does this do quarrying work good? not sure if to get the 345CL or BL , heard the CL gives computer trubles but i jus want a machine that runs good and has lots of power!
