I love watching these catdad videos. They all start the same: "I never wanted a cat. Cats are evil." In the next shot, the cat is eating off his plate and getting pushed around in a baby carriage. Cats are just as awesome as any other pet! It's a matter of understanding their behaviors and learning their personalities.
Especially people who grew up with strongly loyal, in your face type dogs don't seem to grasp the individuality of cats. I've seen more diversity in their personalities than plenty humans. They're each insanely unique and have specific personalities that they will not budge on just for a human's benefit. For instance, my cat is extremely intelligent and very caring and loving, but doesnt like to be held (except in certain circumatances), will probably never be a lap cat but I couldn't ask for a more perfect personality. She is just amazing in every way. However, no one else is really even able to touch her. Shes very aggressive and independent, very territorial. It's amazing watching her process things and make decisions. She's brilliant!
Yes, the cat obviously loves this guy but I think the guy is the one who's obsessed. When you have multiple modes of transportation for your cat, you're obsessed. ♥
No, his prepared for all situations. With dogs you need multiple leashes and harness but cats you need carriers or something to safely and comfortably contain them and that kitty knows that he can go outside on the arms of his dad or those carriers, when even I have a dog and it gets old I will buy a pulling wagon so I can pull him/her when they get tired, I wish I could walk my cats but I don't trust dogs out there and my cats aren't socialized to be out with a lot of commotion lol they're perfect ❤️🐈⬛🐕🦺
My dad was also not a “cat person” but I convinced him to let me get a kitten when I was a teen. Of course he fell in love with “Fat Cat Man Stan.” Fast forward and he actually cried the day I moved out because I was taking the cat with me. Leading up to the move he was pulling this aloof “I don’t care if you take him, I’ll be glad the cat is gone” he must have been trying to convince himself 😆 So I let Stan stay, and he officially became my dad’s cat. That was ten years ago and those two are still inseparable. He calls him Stanley now because it’s more dignified in his old age (lol adorable). He treats that cat like his baby and they go on walks together every morning. I’ve to this day never seen my dad cry over anything else!
Right! It’s not as easy to take cats on outdoor adventures as it is dogs, but when it happens, I think how much richer that cat’s life is. It warms my heart. 🥰
"I just carry him around like a loaf of bread" I bout died cuz of how cute and happy Leo looked. You can choose a pet, but its a whole different level when the animal chooses their person. Much love ❤
Your absolutely 💯 % right and I found out first hand with my sisters pitbull murder the big guy really didn't take to anyone until the day we met . He was the most happiest animal I ever met ...he looks for me all the time and my sister is always calling me to take my dog nephew for the day and yes I spoil him before we go home from the park we hit Rita's up for ice cream so amazing
@@ImNotaRussianBot My husband is more in the middle class but is still a great and a hero, this has always shown our cat clearly. He chose our former cat and she had all the freedom in our household. If my husband came from work I was hardly noticed, first a run to my husband. Did my husband his evening sleep was 10 minutes later our cat at the bedroom door. Cats do not look at the status but that the human gives their attention, affection, caresses and love. Cats notice when the human, no matter what profession he/she has, is fond of animals and treats them like a king or queen. Leo is the best example in this video. Loonchen was our best, real example.
Making the bed with a cat diving under the sheets make things so much more exciting than a mundane chore. Making the bed with a cat around actually makes it a challenge. An adorable challenge, they really love that part.
That’s how animals make their beds in the wild!! That’s why people call it that 😂they’re not making OUR bed they’re making THEIRS lolll my husky does this apparently it’s because in the wild they wanna make sure there’s no bugs or rocks or anything weird that they’re about to lay on.
Cats are very, very particular. People are educated by cats, not cats educated by people. Before I went to work at that time, our cat made clear: *"First I get my food and then you can go to work"* She did not care if we passed her in the morning. Us cat lay in the middle of the floor in the direction of the kitchen and wanted her food. This regime of cat made this clear at 7:30 in the morning. Because of our cat even my husband parried. A piece of the warm meat sausage from the roll had to be. Otherwise there was trouble.
In very healthy years, before our cat got sick, the good lady weighed up to 19 pounds. Then the last two years it was 14 to 15 pounds. The last two days of life the cat did not eat anything and I only knew: Oh dear . . . but our Diva should not suffer. But it was the best 17.8 years. Today I have a smile when I think of the allure of our Diva. YES she was absolutely spoiled, but I miss she and how we were parried and dressed or were from our Diva.
That's a Norwegian Forest Cat. Notice straight up ears forming a triangle face down to its chin with flat nose ( 2:07 ) and of course all that fabulous floof. I've had several and each one was an especially interactive cat... always wondering what you're getting into - up the ladder, sprawled at the end of the workbench, always a paw under the bathroom door. One in particular would drink from the leaky bathtub faucet til one side of her face was sopping wet. And when I fixed the leak I'd have to crack it open to a drip drip just for her
The thing you need to understand about cats is they do the choosing. This is such a perfect and endearing example of that. They are a family. And luckily the woman is humorous and philosophical about the arrangement.
I’ve rescued almost 20 cats n 3 dogs over the years. I’ll sit in the cat house or stop at every dog kennel, 7 days a week for several weeks... Till that one cat or dog chooses me. It’s this overwhelming feeling of understanding n trust. I love to take the injured or sick ones as they will be the first to be put down or the last one to be adopted. I’ve never regretted any pet that I adopted! Never. They’re ALL special❤️ Save a Life n they might just save you!!
Many people who say they don't like cats, or they're not a Cat Person has never really paid attention. Cats will show you exactly how awesome they are if given the chance.
I feel like people who don't like cats are the same people who like dogs because they listen, and they don't know or don't care that cats ≠ dogs. They're not going to obey your every command-they do what they want. You have to respect their boundaries. Cat/human relationships are much like human/human relationships, where two really independent beings act equal in that relationship, and cats vary in behavior and personality (like humans, some won't like you, whereas some will adore you; some like being alone, some are very social). I think like me like cats because we appreciate them for what they are-domesticated, yet wild creatures with their own independent spirit. We're absolutely ok if they end up disliking or not caring for us, but it's fantastic when they end up enjoying our presence. Experiencing a cat's love for you is unlike anything else, IMO. Dogs are great too, but it feels even more special when they choose to open up themselves and trust you (you have to earn it), because with dogs, we've pretty much bred them to like and depend on us.
My wife isn't a cat person. I am. Apparently we can get a cat though. Might have to do with the fact that she breaks out in hives and her throat closes up when she gets near a cat. Eh. I might keep one in the basement.
Yeah 💯 I had a Rottweiler, we had the deepest bond & she passed away. I was so heartbroken. A few months later we found stray kittens in my garden & I fell in love with mine. She’s sleeping in my head, very talkative, goofy personality, obsessed with food. Finding the right cat is such a blessing 🥰
My late husband was like this with cats. He was the best man I ever knew. I asked him once “if there is a fire in the house would you rescue me or the cats?” He said, “you know your way to get out…” 😂. He loved his cats. I would say to get another cat but it will just go with him. Lol. He must be a very patient and kind man. My husband also said, “never trust a man who doesn’t like cats. He’ll be too controlling.” Loved this video. It brought back many great memories. 🥰
People often say they don't like cats, believing the old stereotype that they are aloof and antisocial. Once they have one, they realize they are quite the opposite. My cats would have me CONVINCED I am the most fun and interesting person on earth, the way they enjoy "helping" me with everything. But my human kids set me straight.
So true. And when he said that Leo is like a comedian -- unfortunately, that's something you can't see until you've established a relationship with the cat. So "non-cat" people keep thinking cats are boring. But about 10% of the cats I've ever had were snuggly lovebugs, and 90% were scheming goofballs with super funny senses of humor. It's like they KNOW they're being funny. They're snugglers, too, but they're also comedians. Perfect combo.
@@camez2345 I think you put it so well! Dog people often say they don’t know how to play with cats… just shows they never tried or cared to learn! Playing with cats is easy. For them you trying to write on a paper can be a game too. The wind blowing a leaf is a game too. And once you figure out how to play with them and what their favourite kind of toy is, oh boy… i would call that anything but boring. Cats have very unique, loving and fun personalities and they won’t be shy to show their crazy side to you if you care enough and devote enough time to them. Unfortunately many people don’t and they end up thinking that cats lack in these areas. :/
They are definitely not ! I think it depends on how the owner interacts with them, and possibly the breed of cat. I wish I still had my cat, because he was highly intelligent and fun to be around !
@@jengable4888 Several of the cats that I had while growing up (I’m now 33) were cats we found outside who didn’t have a home, and just kept coming back to my childhood house. Some were feral, outdoor cats, but after a few months, all became housetrained pets. It’s definitely the way you interact with them and the way you teach them is what makes them so mellow. They love their humans. Sure, they sometimes like to be alone, but not all the time.
@@Kari2025 right that's very correct.. I have 3 elder cats, around 14 years olds with different breeds from domestic, persian and Himalayan, and none of them have any problems with their attitude or what and I've been with them since kitten.. sure their personalities and habits are very different from each other, but they are very lovely and attached to me. Right now I'm taking another cat (still in adaptation phase, giving him a lot of space) from my cousin family since the cat is very aggressive and timid around people, they wanted to abandoned it but I volunteered to take it. I was puzzled since I never had a cat like that and pondered the hell happened to the cat, turned out my niece and nephew always roughing him and traumatizing him, such a shame
I think I said it to another comment here, but with cats - you get exactly what you give. Treat them like crap and that's all you'll see. It IS totally on the person.
This so reminds me of my late, great husband, Chucky. He never wanted cats. Claimed he hated them, yet everyone that we ever had was in love with him. He used to call up from the family room "There's a cat on me, come get it," just to make me jealous. I think they liked him better because he never bugged them like I did. They would just crawl up and lay in his arms like a baby and stare at his face like he was a god. LOL I know he loved it.
If a cat sits on your lap and stares at you adoringly, there’s no way you don’t love that! (That’s why it’s a thing, that people don’t want to disturb the cat when they have a cat on their lap!)
Lol I would probably be a cat person if it wasn't for the fact that I'm literally the only person in my entire family who isn't allergic to them. I'm happy with being just a dog person, but if my family wasn't so allergic to cats I'd probably have a cat too. I've noticed that cats who are raised around dogs tend to act more doglike. More likely to be empathetic to human emotion, more social, etc... Makes sense. One of my friends has a cat and 4 dogs, and that cat is more dog than the dogs LMAO.
Catwanderer, you just nailed it.We have had dogs for many years and I’m allergic to cats, until one day a precious little stray kitten found us,he is now 3 years old and he definitely OWNS US and we love it and Love Him To Bits ( he also gets along famously with our 17 year old dog) 😻😻
He's a handsome fella, and they're lucky to have each other. I, too, was more of a dog guy; then, 17 years ago, a little minx tailess kitten came into my life and we become best friends. I had to say goodbye to her just 3 days ago and I'm gutted. I'm a 54 year old divorced man whose been getting teary-eyed time and again since last Thursday morning. To this gentleman, love and appreciate Leo (and your dog) as much as you can.
This has to be hands down one of the best “man doesn’t want cat” story ever. Cats love security and I think this fellow must make the kitty feel really safe! Must be hard to be the “other person” in a relationship that was supposed to be yours!
i am a dog person.. Ive always hated cats. My wife and kids got a cat even though i didnt really want a cat. But now that we have her Darla is my bestfriend. Jokes kinda on me though bc the german shepherd i wanted is 100% my wifes dog lol
To be honest, it might have been just a case of the Cat LoveLanguage Paradox. Ive seen it with a couple of friends; when you want a cat to love you, humans are constantly looking (literally) for affection, right in their eyes, just like we would with other humans. Cats sometimes go for the other human in the house who won't do that (like a dog-person)
@@brmbkl Cats aren't dogs. You can't stare at them directly for too long. You can't talk to them all excited. You can't show them affection if they don't want it. Cats are different. That's why men are usually better with them. No paradox.
My wife's cat She-She was 14ish years old when she stopped eating because of cancer in her throat. She would come to me when I had food she liked, but during her last year she would come to me just for some loving! It really broke my heart when we had to put her to sleep!
I had a very young cat walk into my apartment 2wks ago. She looked around for 5mins and decided to sleep on my couch while I working at my desk staring eye-to-eye with her. She gave me the look as if she's telling me "I approve and if you can get some cat food, that would be great. (yawn) In the mean time I'll take a nap. Wake up me up when you got my cat food... g'nite." I was not ready to have pets, but when she walked in, it was love at first sight. Im very lucky she chose me.
You can go buy a cat or get one from the shelter but.... it's something special when a lost/abandon cat shows up at your door one random day/night... Especially when they keep coming back time after time and you know they have chosen you!
My Mimi cat was like that too. She hated everyone except me. I carried her slung over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes and she loved it. No one else could touch her or she'd hiss and growl. I had to let her into the bathroom with me or she'd throw a fit. She was a healthy girl and lived to be 18 years old. I sure do miss her.
Leo is stinking adorable and obviously VERY spoiled with his human dad... He wants no one else LOL... I loved when he was being carried through the woods how his chunky legs hung lazily. He has that man wrapped around his paw! 😂😂😂😍😘🤗😻🐈🐕
He absolutely loves his dad, people don't realize that cats can be so loving and loyal. And what makes it so special is because they're independent so when they pick you it's very very special.
It's not a dog person or a cat person. The reality and truth is: dog person = controlling person and a cat person let the other be themselves. Don't be afraid to tell the truth because lying is ALWAYS wrong, even to embellish things!!!
There are few feelings better than being chosen by a cat. There are some who think that cats are aloof and don't really need human companions, but they also have the biggest hearts. I had a couple cats growing up, and both of them just had this way of knowing whenever I was depressed, because they'd always curl up in my lap on the couch or next to me when I was in bed and just stay there until I felt better.
My cat follows me around when I cry. She also won't leave my husband's side when he's sick. Cats are very intuitive and sensitive animals, not just dogs.
My cat was not 'saved' by me...it turns out that I was the one who was saved by her. She taught me 'how to live and love once more'. Villi even resembles Leo here quite a bit! :D She even adopted a companion, whom I named Buddy...
I remember when I was a teenager saying how I’d always be a dog person and cats suck until I bought a house and had this cute stray cat that was really friendly show up around sometime. We bonded and now she’s my baby for life. Love you, Swan! ❤️
@@brushstroke3733 well that's too bad for those women. A man who loves cats shows a softness and tenderness. Cats teach us how to be accepting, patient, and how to show appreciation for the uniqueness that cats offer and where we love unconditionally, just like they do for us.
@@jetstream6389 my sister’s cat and I wouldn’t get along he’d come after me and I wasn’t scared of him so I’d do the same, now he loves, sleeps in room.
This daddy and his boy are inseparable. When you adopt a cat, you'll never be lonely. They bring happiness and joy. They are a gift. I often think I can understand why the ancient Egyptians worshipped cats. They are true royals.
I think our cats have very strong gender preferences. They aren't austere with the opposite gender of their preference, but they don't usually glom onto them like a snuggle-slut either. Our boy Odin is such a daddy's boy and prefers men and our boy Loki is such a mama's boy and prefers women.
I could watch that every day and my heart would explode with love. There’s nothing sweeter or more genuine than an animal that chooses you, but it’s totally symbiotic. Together they are stronger.
The look of pure love on Leo's face when looking at his Dad is so heartwarming. His little nose is the shape of a heart. Love seeing him being carried around like a "loaf of bread," ~ priceless! Not to mention being ferried around in his own little buggy! One spoilt little man. Oh and Camper too, adorable! Lovely little family. ᓚᘏᗢ
Reminds me of my cat, Nokie that my dad couldn’t stand but she won him over and they’d just spend hours on the front porch watching birds. This of course after he’d fuss at her to stop following him lol. Miss them both.
You lost your husband and your cat? Very careless. I already have a cat, but I could use a good man. What's your phone number? P.S. Seriously though, don't post your phone number.

@@Duelkitten Yes it was very sad for my sister we all cried when I took her. When I got her she was 14 pounds she is now down to 10 pounds so she is doing very well.
The cat has trained one of it's humans to serve him well, she is tolerated but kept around as a back up incase the first human breaks or fails at his duties.
"He's a little spoiled" No lady - he's being carried around everywhere and hand fed like a little Maharaja, he's _plenty_ spoiled! :D Also very, very cute. A gorgeous boy.
It’s a misconception that cats aren’t affectionate. They love their humans, and they love their family, but they tend to gravitate towards one person. I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a child and this is what I’ve found, it’s almost like the alpha male/female thing dogs do. If you’re chosen, you’re number one!
Very true. Weirdly, though, the 2 cats my bf and I have seem to go through phases with both of us. Right now, our older boy seems to like to lay on my head while I go to sleep at night. I'm absolutely not complaining. His purring is the perfect white noise machine 😂
Most of our cats have been one person cats. But our present gal loves to remind all of us that we ALL belong to her! We affectionately call her a “ho.” (She does have favorites though…me and my brother, lmaooo) 😆
That also depends on the cat. I've had a gentleman of a cat who loved everybody who came in the house, and he was affectionate to me and my wife equally.
When cats choose their person, it's a done deal! And it shows that the old stereotypes are a lie! Cats are just as loving but they are pickier about it. I love this so much! Those two are just darling.
I kinda disliked raising cats as well...with their hair and all being a hazard....until my sis bought 2 persians. They lay on me everyday. Now there's a third one pooped out by the female one. She's now in my profile picture. Likes getting on my lap too........smh. How troublesome ❤️
Hey animals are just like humans, they each have their unique personality, preferences, etc. I never could understand "cat person" or "dog person". Love them all I say! 😍
I'm a cat, dog, goat, bird etc person then. I have a little ranch with those animals and they are my family and my world. The wild animals out here are amazing too. I wish I was better at filming, because I have an animal story for The Dodo. Right now I have a big wild raven I've been feeding, and we are becoming friends. I was trying to distract him with food, because he's obsessed with the back window of my car. He sits on the back windshield wiper and pecks at his reflection, while crapping on my car. It's kind of a crappy car, so I don't mind too much. After a few months of feeding him (I buy hot dogs for him, and give him scraps), I started noticing strange objects I haven't seen before show up outside my sliding glass door of my bedroom. Stuff like earrings that don't belong to me, a 1990s era Casio databank watch (with no band), and the latest, a nice pair of small Fiskar clippers that are small and lightweight. This raven is bringing me gifts! Those clippers he stole from a "neighbor" but I don't know which illegal marijuana grower he took them from. Since marijuana became recreationally legal, @ 20 different growers have moved up here. They aren't legal because they have no permits to grow and they use illegal chemicals that hurt wildlife, so I don't like them and what they are doing to this beautiful place. Igor (what we've named him) was especially proud of these little clippers he brought me. He set them on the ground and cawed until I came outside. When I walked towards him, he flew a short distance to the roof to watch me discover his gift. I was delighted and told him so, and he did this cute little hopping dance. From now on, I need to carry my camera phone so I can record this derpy bird! My goal is to get him to trust me enough to take food from my hand. I think I've fallen in love with a tall, dark and handsome... raven!
@@LazyIRanch You my friend are living an awesome life! Not only are you enjoying the company of a variety of wonderful animals, you're helping to improve their lives. God bless you and good luck with your handsome raven. I'm curious to hear what he brings you next! 😊😍

They wait for him in the windows all day and the minute he comes home the house wakes up! Now he's always spoiling them and can pick one up so I can groom her something I usually have to sneak around to do! Same here, met my first cat when I was rooming in a house with a bunch of girls. He was a stray and I grew up in a "dog only home" so I was inexperienced but I caught on and it felt good to gain his trust.
It’s ok. I was told that maybe my cats were “a little spoiled” by a kitty dermatologist. Who has a job only because some of us obsess over our cats and are willing to pay good $$ to kitty dermatologists!

I was in the same boat. Never had a Cat, never wanted one, refused to get one, but then one gets dumped off and shows up at our door. He got along with our dog and for some reason, absolutely loved me and wouldn't let me not love him. He passed away a few months ago and I miss him terribly. Like losing a family member.
Indeed he is! Bears a striking resemblance, rt dn to the eyes & markings, of the 3 yr old Maine Coon/Ragdoll female: Chanel, the offspring & ex pawned off on me when they split up. I didn't want her at 1st cuz she was simultaneously aggressive, afraid of me, quite large, unusually strong, & overly furry, yet refused grooming or affection. I'd just lost little Lucy to kidney disease less than a yr prior & my heart was still broken. Leo is nearly Chanel's mellow mirror image. Wish I could take her out & about like that, we both need the exercise & sunshine! That may never happen, as she's still a psychotic furry sausage, but we've bonded now. Perhaps we're each the challenge the other needed, who knows?
I love when people who have never wanted cats meet one and find out that there are many cats in the world who are just as personable and loyal as many dogs.
Had a orange maincoon growing up named Frank he was definitely more like a dog.. he would walk with me to the bus stop every morning and hang out till I left..and everyday I got home he would be waiting at the bus stop for me and we would walk home together..
I think maybe because that person is the calmest person near the cat and don’t attempt to pet/touch/carry the cat , which makes cats feel content and relaxed and in their surroundings
They probably sense that the person is a great warm soul deep down. Or even that the person is just scared to interact with them. Had a cat that always followed my dad, my dad was depressed and took his life essentially but we never knew he felt that way. He wasn’t interested in my cats at all, he would tell them to go away. The cat that slept in my room would always go to him and he would end up petting her and talking to her. She just sat there on her back looking at him. Her routine became going to his room and waiting for him. Both my cat and dad are gone but it always warms me to know they built such an interesting bond. Mainly since my dad was such a hard ass that you’d think hated cats.
Unlike cat people who only stick to cats, dog people are just as affectionate as dogs and therefore they are able to love all animals, not just dogs. I wish for once to see a cat person who loves dogs but no. Cat people actively hate on dogs and spread stereotypes about them, yet expect us dog people to love cats.
@@GodisMyNo1 This is the most hilariously wrong statement and complete opposite of the truth 😂 It is mostly DOG PEOPLE who passionately hate on cats and even show up on cat videos to say that dogs are the best and cats are useless.I have been harassed and bullied by dog people because I said I am a cat person. Cat people only talk trash about dogs when we have been targeted by dog people and when cats are labelled vermin and evil by dog people. “I wish for once to see cat person who loves dogs” 😂 You must live under a rock because plenty of cat people are animal lovers and not just love dogs but other animals too! It’s dog people who push the “dogs are man’s best friend” propaganda. So many dog people told me, “ Cats aren’t loyal, get a dog”. Yeah, like heck I will 😂
@Snow Μ This person is hilariously ignorant and lives on another planet because I know plenty of dog people who hate on cats without ever having a cat.
The adoration in Leo’s eyes for his dad is so heartwarming! He truly loves his dad! He has a lovely, calm demeanor as well. Seem like the perfect pair!
“I didn’t realise there were cats like Leo.” They are like their owners are. And this man is very calm, relaxed, loving and that exact behaviour and attitude transfers to the cat you are raising.
@ S Miller I think if you love your pet you want them to be happy, which is why she's chosen to remain good natured about it. Side note, are you from the U.K?
The way he looks at him so adoringly. A couple of my cats do that to me, and it's an honor to receive that level of trust/love from them. They must have trained Leo from a kitten how to go on adventures, cause most adult cats are so set in their ways it's almost impossible to get them to try something new, especially something that takes them away from their territory/comfort zone.
I totally agree, I regret not taking my cat out more often as a kitten, now he’s so miserable when we go visit his grandparents (my parents), he just whines the whole ride there and tries to hide when we are at their house
@@SuperbiainProelioCitizen That's a perfect example. And that's actually how most cat's will react from being taken away from his/her territory. You have to do it from a kitten. I used to take one of my cats everywhere with me when he was just weeks old, (he was born in my closet) and now, if i need to take him to the vets or anywhere really, he would let me carry him with no carrier or anything. (I know I'm meant to keep him in his carrier) but just an example of how they are much easier to take places when you teach them from a kitten that there's a world beyond his/her territory.
@@JaneCooper190072 good for you! I think it’s great that you’re able to do that with your cat, I wish I thought that way when mine was young. Oh well, he’s still a joy to have and even though he doesn’t like going places, I still love him just the same

I always had dogs growing up, I thought I hated cats. Until I lived in a small condo that only had room for a cat. I now absolutely love cats, my first cat changed my entire perspective of them.
I'm a dog person who adopted a stray cat after the dog died. Cats are easier to care for. They don't respond to commands unless it suits them, but it's been a very good experience.
The same happened to me. A cat started coming over after my maltese poodle passed away. I chased the cat away because it was trying to catch the birds that I feed in my garden. I literally had to chase the cat away with a broom, but it returned the very next day. And so it went on for a few months. I was so sad about my little dog who passed away that I hardened my heart against the cat. Then I got a new maltese puppy in April and she immediately started playing with the visiting cat. I was so grateful that my new puppy had a friend to play with. The cat was by now very weary of me... but I asked her to forgive me and she came towards me. Then I realised she had an eye defect and could hardly see. So the birds were never in any danger. 😔 It's been nearly 4 months now and the two animals are firm friends. The cat comes and goes as she pleases. I feed her once a day and give her some milk, and I often wonder if her owners know about her other life. And that she is the best therapy animal ever!
I was also a dog person growing up. Then my GF at the time got me a kitten. Technocat totally changed my view of cats. Very loving. Coming home from a bad day at work, he would instantly know and pile heaps of love on me until my mood was totally changed. Miss him.
