People underestimate how overprotective cats are. My cat is a super senior now but when he younger he would literally escort me to the bus stop and watch from a distance until I got on the bus. Even now if he feels like my dog is crossing a boundary when playing he will intervene and swing if he’s motivated. He’s my lil 17 year old muffin baby but looking back he was kinda lowkey dangerous to everyone but me.
We got a cat that just started showing up after we adopted our son and he kept breaking into the house and we kept finding him in my son's room.Despite all efforts we've never found his owners so... we now have a cat, but the vet was telling us that cats see humans as their pets they have to take care of and help survive and I think that's just precious, whether true or not 😂
aaaw! i had a stray cat friend me for about 6 months before running off to their next mission. I regularly walk to the market thats right outside of my neighborhood. The total feeling/reminder of LOVE i felt in my heart when i realized he was following me.. man oh man. Animals really do enrich our lives so incredibly much. Miss you Tuck❤🐈⬛❤
@@SaiSaiGre Wow! thats a really beautiful thing. That cat truly loves ur baby boy. Cats seem to be spiritual to me... only had an experience with the one i mentioned in my above comment. but truly, i know it was a much deeper meaning that he came to me at this time in my life.. i just know it
dotn have cats and dogs. dont even just have dogs. you like a shit and vomit eating creature? thats what all dogs do ya know. house never clean, dog leaving shit and pee stains everywhere. you re stupid for having dogs.
I was expecting to see an abusive babysitter, but quickly came to realize the title and captions only painted the story that way because the cat was the one who wrote them
I like how the other cat is assessing the situation because he just sees the human retreating and his brother advancing on the human so he's like "I ain't doing anything until I know what's going on!"
The cat believed that the young woman was hurting the boy. Amazing reaction. And the other kitten seems to be telling her, no, she didn't do anything, you're wrong.
That lady seemed so terrified when she saw the second cat coming into the room before realizing he was trying to defuse the situation. The Cat chilled out a lot until she picked up the baby and then he was right back at it. Anyone who says that cats can't be protective doesn't know what they are talking about. I've seen it first hand myself. 😺
@@carsondenny1986 The cat we had growing up, I guess you can say, defended my mother. My brother was being a (to say this nicely) VERY sassy butt to my mother one morning before school and our cat kept pacing around him. The situation peaked as he was talking smack going up the stairs and my mother grabbed him by his backpack to yank him back down (this was the 90s in a Hispanic household). Before my mother could do anything, our cat ran up to my brother (who was now on the ground) and gave him 6 left/right smacks and bit his head. She didn't use her nails so she didn't scratch him but she definitely got her point across. Needless to say the conflict was over 🤣
I like how the other cat for the first half is confused on what’s going, assesses what was happening, then tries to stop the first cat “Bro chill, this is a misunderstanding”
I know, the fact that the other cat literally tried to intervene shows that they knew the other cat well and deduced that it might be overreacting just a smidgen. 😂 Honestly, both are clearly very smart! One just got a bit too overprotective of their human ward. 😂❤️
I saw that...like damn the other cat looked at the baby the the girl being attacked....like hmm I don't think she did it... the other cat is prolly jus letting off extra steam cause it never really liked the babysitter anyway..she prolly ain gettin nailed on the couch and Givin him a show like mom and dad do
Cats are DEADLY. People have lost whole LIMBS to cat attacks. Hell, a light touch by a wild cat opened my nose and gave me a scar. Bleeding didn't stop for a long time.
Us cat owners built different I mean if you look at my arms you will probably see about 10 on earth arm coming from my cats its gotten to the point that their scratches and bites don't hurt anymore
You've gotten this completely wrong. The toddler was never at risk and the woman was quite safe. She obviously doesn't know how to deal with cats so she panicked and did not communicate to the cat that it was a false alarm. Instead of jumping around screaming, she should have calmly knelt on the floor or sat down, looking away from the cat.
This seems like a misunderstanding on kitty’s part, but it’s very sweet that when they thought there was trouble they came to the defense of their hooman’s baby 🥹
But it was her stupidity which broke the glass in the first place. So in a way the cat was punishing her for being stupid and creating a dangerous hazard for the kid.
@@kissanruokaa Yes you are right about cats. But not choosing to befriend someone just because they have their own opinion of cats is petty. You're not better than people just because you choose cats over your own species.
@@missingno.5242 You know its just not about cats, its the principal of appreciating life overall. Its not that simple as you might think my friend, i hope you get it :) So dont be saying ignorant things like that if you dont even know what you are talking about :) And no, i never said i was better than anyone. Stop attacking random people in internet you troll.
My sister brought my nephew over one time when he was a newborn. He started fussing and the dog started growling and whining which made my nephew cry even more. My senior cat ran out from where ever he was sleeping, looked at the dog, then the baby, back at the dog and decided the dog was the problem. He chased the dog off with a few good swats.
You know that s#!+ hurt! Cat claws and teeth ain’t no joke. No audio I’m sure because she HAD to be cussing at that cat! “Get off,GET OFF ME YOU SOB!”OFF! OFF!🤬🤬🤬.
Lmao I love how the cat is rly trying to go at her. I feel bad bc she did nothing wrong, but at the same time I’m proud of the cat for caring enough about the baby to fight a human for it. 😂😂😭
@_.WasteYourTime._ i dont get it. Are you actually believing that the babysitter was using the cat to punch the ball? The black n white fur cat clearly got up from its bed and goes to save the baby
For some odd reason, many people vastly underestimate the intelligence of cats. But cat owners know differently - cats are super intelligent and adept at reading the room, even more so than many dogs. Just got a cat for the first time a couple of months ago, and she is so smart you'd think she was a human trapped inside a cat's body. Definitely smarter and more attuned to everything than all of the dogs my family babysat for family friends over the years.
Growing up I had a cat named Scratch, we got when I was two, who wouldn’t let anyone but my parents and my nanny near me. Even when I got older and had friends over she would put herself between my friends and I, jumping and hissing if we wrestled. I loved that cat more than anything. She would let me dress her up in doll clothes when I was little, and push her in a stroller. She slept with me every night of her life. I had her for 16 years and she died shortly after my 18th birthday. I still miss Scratch. Best cat ever. Truly an angel.
What a lovely tribute to your wonderful (almost) life-long (at the time) beloved companion. I'm sorry for your loss and it sounds like you have lots of good memories.
I didn’t even know scratch and I miss her too :( so nice that you had a relationship like that in your life though I’m sure it helped make you who you are today
Although the babysitter didn't hurt the baby but actually trying to protect him from the broken glass.. the cat assumed that she hurt him because he was crying. All these aside, that's actually nice to know that the cat cares about the baby.
Imagine you and your wife come home to find that your cat activated combat mode while you were gone and now you need to pay for your babysitter to get stitches because she's been carved up like a thanksgiving turkey
@TheShermanTanker ...that is a horrible thing to even think! She could just pick up the baby and go in another room. The cat can scratch but it can not kill her, no need to kill someone pet.
@The Unknown John Doe ...well, I have been working with cat rescue places most of my life, and I am in my 60s, I haven't lost an eye yet, lol. I do have some bad scratches from giving medicine to some feral cats but my eyes are still intact. I understand it can be frightening to see any animal come at you, I had a tiny little dog bite my ankle and it was more of a shock than painful. I had a 120lb malemute that people were afraid of because he was so protective yet he never hurt a soul....well never hurt a human soul, he did eat a few birds in his time. Animals will protect their loved ones.
@@ScorpioFortuneTarot To be honest, I would never expect a cat to understand the situation and decide to intervene like that. It has to have a certain level of intellience, a long-term memory (long enough follow and memorize the entire progress), and a certain level of logical brain process to be able to analyze the situation and finally act. 🐱 If, instead, it was a dog, I wouldn't be too surprised because dogs are more intelligent. 🐶
@@khaiphamba5991 oh wow, i actually thought cats where smarter than dogs, and maybe many ignorant people believe that in this topic xD but i am surprised, thanks for that! And yeah it really is fascinating, but what i have noticed with many animals is that they are definitely picking up on human behaviour, we have domesticated animals for awhile and im not surprised that they're learning from us, we are looked at as their "parents" to many but its a really interesting topic to divulge into.
@@myridian4516 if she's the mother i would get rid of that damn cat. I had two dogs as a kid that were very much my dogs and stayed with me everywhere i went. I never needed a leash, even in public they stayed right by my side, one was over 100 pounds and massive and she even bit someone protecting me once. Neither one of those dogs ever tried to start anything with my parents no matter if i was getting my ass whooped or not, that's not there place. Showing aggression towards a family member is when being protective becomes a problem. I'm definetly a dog person so i would have less patience for a cat in this situation tho and i have zero experience training them. I know how to work with dogs that are prone to aggression so I'm sure there are cat people out there who could fix this issue.
Accept the cat is *putting* the kid in danger here. All it takes is him turning around to play with the shiny bits of Gass on the ground while cat is *saving* him.
@@tokki5585 but the kid could have. It's not a funny video. It shows how much the cat could be a danger to the kid. Just because the kid didn't turn around this time or the babysitter didn't fall after picking the kid up, tripping over the cat, doesn't mean it won't happen next time.
@@azurastar3223 yep the cat needs to go. He doesn't seem to know that humans are the boss of that Kingdom there. She could have just picked up one of those purple couch cushions to block the cat and whacked him across the room a couple of times and that would probably knock some sense into him and make him run away, but that cat seems like he's insane
Tripped out how the cat actually didn’t see any crime being committed but saw the evidence of broken glass and his baby brother crying so he assessed the situation and decided the girl was at fault, therefore attack! That cat was judge, jury, and executioner 😸😼
Yeah, cats are smart, it's just they doesn't give a fuck most of the time, there is an experiment that cat recognise when their owner calling their name, but unlike dogs, cat just decided to ignore it Lmao
I think it’s because just like the rest of us, she understands the cat was only trying to protect the baby. It was a complete misunderstanding, notice how she even tried leveling with the cat and letting it know she was not there to harm the baby, her one mistake was picking him up to get him away from the cat, because then it looked really bad to the cat.
@@ravenartistofficial tbh we have a lot more context than she does., to her, wouldn’t it seem like the cat started attacking her out of nowhere?? That’s also why she picked up the baby because she thought the cat may be a danger to the baby as well
I love cats(have my own kitty) but if the cat was cutting me up with its claws pretty bad, i probably wouldve kicked it and tried to get on higher ground where the cat cant reach me
@@thisiswhathappenslarry me too, probably after I’ve tried to grab it’s scruff to control it, and throw it in another room. Kicking it would be a last resort, but holy shit that kitty was merciless!
@@thisiswhathappenslarry There's no high ground in that house which the woman could get to even half as fast as that angry cat. I'd have had to kick it too. I can appreciate the cat's intent to protect the kid, but I'm not gonna let it claw nor bite me a second time.
These comments are so damn cringe. I see them all the time "So you have chosen death" okay dude. We get it. Its an old joke. Say something else that is funny
After my stroke I was in a wheelchair & had vision deficits. I used to be afraid whenever I was alone. My cat, The Doodle, would stand guard with his back arched and tail fluffed, hissing as he prowled the perimeter of the room. He could tell when my blood sugars were too high or too low by smelling my breath & would run to bring help. He died 4 years ago. Sometimes I think I catch sight of him out of the corner of my eye. Then I cry.
I had a cat that would make all types of noises when my blood sugar went low during bedtime and she wouldn't leave me. (I was a child 14 - till I left home)
This is sad. I love my kitty mama Samus Aran. She's the best companion I could have wanted. I'm sorry for your loss and am sure you brought joy to yours while they were here too!
I have a small heart condition, and when my heart doesn’t beat right, my Siamese cat jumps on top of me and starts my heart going right again. She is already about 11 years old and I am so uncertain what will happen when she passes. I have other cats but she’s the one who most looks after my health. I love cats so much, and they are so smart! Anybody who has had them knows that, but not everyone who didn’t have one knows. I’ve had them on my life ever since I was born. My mother had a cat who was one year old in 1958 when I was born, and she died at 18 when I was 17!
The babysitter simply did not understand the cat is trying to save the child from her and continues to get bitten while trying to save the child from the cat…
I fell in my house. Was yelling for my husband and crying from pain. Husband came running to help me up and my cat ran in and tore him up. Couple years later, I burned my hand at the stove. Husband comes running again. Cat came flying in and I put a towel to my mouth to cover my sobs. Husband got away with a few swats to the legs. My cat is my fierce, misguided protector.
Your husband try’s to help you the cat prevents it. We call that trying to kill you or let you die where I’m from. Keep the husband obviously he actually know what the hell is going on and is will to go through the pain to love you. Fuck the cat keep the husband wtf the cat gonna do? Dayum. Good kitty, but she didn’t deserve it. But it still made me happy to see. Cats are way smarter than people give them credit for. I’m injured and my kitten knows. ❤
@@shooklizard9039 cats can be very protective when they give a shit, my cat used to protect my little brother with his life, it didn't matter who it was, if he screamed or started crying he'd tear the hell out of whoever was handling him and then spend the rest of the time cuddling my brother and wouldn't let anyone touch him, until he fell asleep.

Nitwit cat put kid in more danger by preventing the mess from being cleaned up calmly and quickly. If cat can't discern between danger and care, he needs to be locked away while sitter is there. What would happen if kid hurt themselves, cried, and then sitter can't apply immediate first aid?? Cats can do some serious damage!
@@charizardsniper5064 actually I’m pretty sure there was an experiment recently showing dogs to be smarter than cats because of how they behave and how larger most dog’s brains are. But yes the cat was being observant and there fore smart.
Honey that was the joke that a dog would have been smart in that situation not every but most. And just because your observant doesn’t make you smart knowing how to act with what you just saw is what makes you smart. This is not how you act this was dumb there for dumb cat. It’s like you see your treadmill can go 20 mph doesn’t me you can
Its obvious but the cat r smart and dumb both at the same time my grandma loves cats so i lived with cats my entire life and i know for sure that the cat lives in this house for a very long time and its with the baby since he was born and from the video the cat heard the baby crying so thought the nanny hurting him and thats why the cat attacked her.
alright.. kitty was really badass here but can we talk about the dedication and potential of that babysitter? must be hard trying to run away from a cat literally trying to attack her while trying to clean up broken glass and holding the child safe and carrying it at the same time.
After she picks up the baby you can see how she holds him away from the combat kitty....she really cares for the child....nice to see the baby has protectors in every corner....
@@erikac8612 watch it again. The baby was never in danger. Babysitter is scared off then the cat goes to look at the kid. Sees nothing wrong then goes back at the babysitter. That cat had ample opportunity to attack the kid, but the kid was never a target.
@@erikac8612 she also block the baby away from the glass before the cat attacked. It's so cute, not for the babysitter for sure but they were both trying to protect the kid from each other XD
When cats hear loud noises sometimes they freak out& get defensive, one time two of my cats were play fighting and one of them bumped into a vase which smashed, my third cat ran into the room and beat everyone up 😂
The cat could not witness the event unfold, but upon hearing a loud noise, she went to see what had happened and found broken glass on the floor. Reacting protectively, she assumed someone had tried to harm the baby and proceeded to attack the babysitter, showcasing her quick thinking and loyalty. It was an amusing and impressive display of the cat's intelligence. 😂😂
black cat comes in and is like "so you just smashing up all our shit huh? that's not cool!" and the gray cat: "calm down dude remember we talked about this"
Gaucho so because the cat heard the baby scream and the broken glass... the cat though that the babysitter hurted the baby, that's why was trying to defend his little owner. so when she hold the baby cat attacked cause she was a treat for the baby
Gaucho she hit the kid with the ball but it was accidentally edited to cut that out and that's how the glass broke the ball hit it after the kids face and the cat saw it through the door.
Cats are intelligent. My own amazes me everyday. She can do basic tricks when asked but what scares me how she mimics everything I do. I once playfully splashed water on her, she looked at me displeased, and did the same to me with her paw. She also somehow figured out how to give human kisses and how it's a sign of affection. She saw me drinking water from a glass and now she wants to do the same...bowls won't do anymore. I swear she is an alien in disguise lol.
@@hanac5586 my cat mimics peting. Whenever he can he touches my cheek and slowly blinks, repeatedly. Now, I know we tend to hear human words when it comes to animal sounds, but lemme explain. When I'm about to feed them I use the word, same with water. Thing is, a couple of times I arrived home or woke up in the morning and my cat was thirsty because the bowl flipped or something, and I swear, he would meow something like "agua" (water in spanish) desperately. The deal with it is that is almost the same rhythm that I use. Maybe a parrot in disguise
