I had a black one ordered through the dealership and it took me 6 or 7 months to finally get it. A 2ss. I ordered it at the beginning of 2021 and got it in October of 2021, yet it's a 2022.... go figure

Avoid x pipes they create lots of resonanceand make the car sound weak. H-pipe is the beef.

No noticeable drone at cruising/ highway speeds. Only when getting on it especially in track mode

Aces Performance Exhaust in Pasadena Tx

It depends, the cats I removed are secondaries (aka only placed to meet California emissions requirements) and do not have O2 sensors connected to them, so no check engine light. In the case that you do an actual primary cat delete on a car, you would get a check engine light and a tuner would be able to tune your car and delete the code causing the check engine light.

@@KoolAideIsMyPronoun No problem man and yeah same… honestly, the stock NPP exhaust with a secondary cat delete is not bad sounding at all and for the money ($80 at local exhaust shop) it’s good enough for the time being. These cars are awesome man congrats I flew from San Antonio Texas to Tulsa Oklahoma for mine as well! Only dealer willing to work with me at sticker price lol

There were only a few online anywhere in the country like that… so with 800 miles on it I paid 55k plus tax. Lol. Definitely Over sticker. But I didn’t give a damn! Bought a flight from Jackson MS to Dc and drove her home. With zero guilt. Times are changing so I had to get on it while I could. Now I just gotta pay for her. Haha. But thanks man!

No check engine, the secondary cats are after the O2 sensors. Just make sure your shop welds correctly because you will get one if there’s a leak in the weld!

Only secondaries bro. Didn’t touch the primaries since they’ll throw a code and you’ll need a tune. I’m just gonna wait until I throw headers on to do it all at once

Fronts are 285/30 and the rear 305/30.

A catalytic converter, or cat, removes toxic fumes from your exhaust. Vehicles usually come with 2, but GM put 4 on the 6th Gen Camaro. 2 are regulated and required by law and the other 2 are unregulated (the car’s computer does not read them or monitor them). The secondary (3rd and 4th) cats are not required by law here where I am in Texas so removing them gives a raspier, louder tone to the car’s exhaust.

I kept them but only because I asked for them, exhaust dude left them on the floor after removing them with a pile of other forgotten cats lol. But unfortunately I’ve had a few scrap metal guys tell me since they’re secondaries they have no value. Not sure how true that is, will update if I end up selling them since they’re useless to me plan on keeping the car

@@bryanaguirre. I guess the Mack daddy of these cars is the ZL1 . Sure wished I could afford one of those but even the SS’s run well over 50k , sadly still out of reach for me. I guess will have to be content restoring my 91 Z28 and old 69 Camaro , would love to own one of these newer muscle cars though!

​@Bossman_71 A very well driven, very sticky tired 6 spd can beat the A10 auto off the line and in rolls. Its 80 lbs lighter and even the old 2017 A8 spd was quicker than the new A10. It depemda on the driver in the auto off the line but rolls its 100% driver shift ability.

Gonna be honest man I’ve never had a manual before I’ve only had trucks so never learned haha I’m not gonna give you the “autos are faster”

Hey man, wheels are the stock 1LE forged wheels with Eagle F1 tires. 20x10 front wrapped in 285/30 and the rear are 20x11 wrapped in 305/30.
