OMG that is so cruel, how dare you leave your dog who is lay in the snow refusing to move or come when called and is the end result of selective breeding to give it traits that allow it to flourish in the snow. Animal cruelty.... /s haha
I've been occasionally coming back to this video over the years. There's something so pleasing about watching a cozy cat chatting away about how cozy she is.
same. this video first appeared in my recommended like 3 years ago, and every now and then it shows up again, and i never get over how freaking adorable she is
Oh, you think blankets are your ally. But you merely adopted the cozyness; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't feel the cold until I was already a cat, by then it was nothing to me but FREEZING!
@@drunkvegangal8089 Misty's two and she already knows how to get what she wants. Her intelligence scares me sometimes, she knows how to open cabinets to get to the treats and is learning how to open doors. Send help
@@DogeOverlord9000 the treats are kept in containers that have locks that come down over the lid to stop her from opening it. She figured out that if she flipped over the normal Temptations container she could pry the lid off of it. I'm gonna get child locks for the cabinets since my parents keep saying "it's fine, just squirt her with the water bottle". Only thing is she likes the water bottle lol
EXACTLY. And the primary way of ownership getting demonstrated is often scratching and biting. But the blanket is electrified, and turned on. Full, it seems, from the control lights. How stupid is that.
My cat literally went “blanket me” once and I put a blanket around her and snuggled her, she is so sweet! She isn’t all like “I rule, you are my slave!” She is more like “mommy I love you!” 💕 SO CUTE!
Fun fact: A cats comfortable temperature is actually considerably warmer than what a normal person would consider comfortable, this is why you'll see a lot of cats sit in the areas where the suns shines through the window.
"This is one gift I shall accept from your treacherous hands human I shall stay my claws from your flesh only if you don't pick me up while I am at peace"
I used to forget to turn my blanket off when I went to school. When I got home, 2 cats and two dogs had figured out how to peacefully share my twin bed.
@@cinemacynic980 My Schnauzer, Dad's Schnauzer, Mom's cat and my Siamese. Everyone but my cat got along, but Misha, well, she was a bit like Scar in The Lion King: " I'm surrounded by idiots."
I know what you mean. I left my parents house to the big city, but left my cat behind. I will return today to get some things, and will stay for a few days. I wish I could take him along as well. Unfortunately, my appartment is not suitable for my cat, who comes from the countryside and now lives in a small town in a quiet area. My apartment is too small, not enough outdoor space in reach, and too much traffic and noise. And who would care for him if I am away? I told my parents that they should give him extra attention and cuddling.
@@pope9349 shame on you for judging someone when you don't even know their circumstances. many people are forced to part ways with their pets for reasons beyond their control.
Or a scream of terror as the blanket rapidly heats up and they want to get out but can't because the owner super glued them to the bed in order to make a video.
We just adopted a house cat that had been abandoned that talks like that. She insists on sleeping between my husband and I, between his chest and against my shoulders. If we move she lets us know that we are disturbing her. She is the most talkative of our 8 cats.
@Phoenix Gamer X They said anime, and I said I felt that meow. So I said nya, which is cat japanese. or cat korean, or cat thai, if you use the right dialect.
7.6 million people have really made the active decision to spend 40 seconds of their lives watching a cat meow in a hot blanket and none of us regret it.
For all those concerned about fires: you can buy heated blankets with timers now :) set a timer for a half hour and kitty will be so happy, and you dont have to worry
@@rani.andretti the blanket itself doesn’t overheat, but the wires can get worn from constant use. No heated blanket should be used for hours without a few moments in-between for the wires to cool. That’s how these wire malfuntions happen, and the fires.
I like to think that the cat believes the level of comfort he has achieved can only mean he has won total victory over all and he is laughing and mocking everyone as he triumphs. HA HA HA! YOU FOOLS!
Awwwww! What a cute kitty! This cat reminds me of my very first cat, Reba. I found Reba as a stray back in 1990, and my Mom and Dad and I took her in as a pet. I named her after Reba McEntire. Reba was only two years old when we first found her, and she lived to be twelve years old. She developed kidney failure in September of 1999, and we had to have her put down in May of 2000. She is terribly missed. RIP, Reba. We love you, little girl. See you in Heaven.
For anyone who hasn't learned Meow, the cat said, "If you take this heated blanket away from me, it is you who will be eating from a bowl on the floor."
@@mrcoco7456 Cats only meow to communicate with humans besides maybe as kittens. Cats in the wild without humans around don't really meow. Something to that affect. XD They do it for us haha.
That sounds really energy intensive, but are those big like a dining table or more of an office table where a single person fits? I tend to have a small fan blowing the hot air exaust from my PC to my legs during winter, is it like that?
@@LuizAlexPhoenix it’s not really energy intensive. It’s mind boggling to see how much average household spends on electricity in the US. I know because I used to live in the US and now Japan. Japan is a very energy conscious country. With advanced technologies, most household items in Japan consumes a surprisingly low electricity and gas. A whole family of 4-8 could sit at a Kotatsu, along with some pets. Originally in very old days, it was charcoal heat source but nowadays it uses low electricity. You don’t have to heat up an entire home to keep warm. You can eat breakfast lunch and dinner at Kotatsu and watch TV there too. Just that it’s hard to clean for most housewives and my Japanese mom decided get rid of it at one point and have heated floors instead. That’s also very low energy using solar to store up energy during the day and uses from stored electricity source when it’s more expensive at night. Japanese household on average spends about 1/5 of average American household.
Throw in a nice little hot water bottle as a pillow and the kitty will deliciously expand, float upward, then gently, slowly vanish into the ether with a soft drawn-out meow.
That’s what I was thinking. lol I’m like that’s probably a cry for help. Looked like it was on its highest setting. But I’m sure if it really was in distress, it would try and get from under the blanket. 🤷🏾♀️ I hope.
I’m torn on this video, because I do know cats LOVE to be warm and my cat LOVES to lie ON my heating blanket. Actually, this winter, he’s gotten to where he’s getting more of my heating blanket more than I am. But mine doesn’t necessarily like it when I get up from the sofa and drape it over him while I run to get something. :-/
@@tarareads23 That was definitely not a cry for help. Helpless cats sound and act VERY DIFFERNT when they are in distress. This cat here had the time of his life, it was calm, relaxed and probably wanted treats and some petting
Our 14 year old cat's year round favorite place to sleep is in a rubbermaid bin curled up in the hood of an old down jacket. He took it over, we left it as a sleeping place for him. Sometimes you can barely even see him, but at least we know where he is 90% of the time.
My cat always loved to jump into warm piles of laundry, especially towels......he had to be put down last year due to stomach cancer. 🤧 I'll never forget you Simba.
Lost our cat named Mouse to kidney failure in October of 2019 and I still think about her every day. Now I even miss the irritating things she used to do.
Nodak81 I’m sorry for your loss as well! I hope things will be a bit easier for you over time. Your precious feline baby is in a better place now and no longer in pain.
The world is full of all kinds of injustices and lingering fears, about which you can do nothing. But that just makes the simple pleasures all the more precious by comparison. A cat happy as can be, is a gift in and of itself.
@@TRAngA-Animator Wow no way, really? I actually thought cats had IQs upwards of 180 and just chose not to speak. I actually thought that cats meowing could signal different things, and they even had an alphabet. You going down the line of comments and correcting everyone (and their obvious humor) has really opened my eyes. I'm sure that they also had no idea that cats weren't trying to communicate to humans. I think you should write a dozen more comments to prove this, because people really need to know that cats don't have human level intelligence, and can't comprehend human emotion and language. I'm sure taking obvious jokes at face value and assuming people know nothing about everything is very healthy.
@@TRAngA-Animator your joke has to be funny in order to be considered comedy. I'm in agreement with the other guy here, as you've just come off as arrogant. Furthermore, you've done this several times now. Jokes degrade over time, it's why memes become outdated over a long period of time. Due to you overusing your joke and it being generally unfunny and bland, it has become increasingly annoying, and you've effectively killed it.
This is freaking cute. Our cat is about to be 17yo, she doesn't like being rolled up in a blanket so we gave her a heating pad. She'll sleep on it for hours and if we forget to turn it on she starts crying.
My cat is about 17-18 aswell and she loves her heated blanket in her bed! It's been on constantly for the last month or so while we've had cold weather.
