My old cat (she's since passed away) was always kept indoors because we never really trusted her outside. One day, I couldn't find her and I started to hear her meowing from outside. She was standing at the front door, meowing so one of us could let her back in. I still don't know how she got out.
Comically, my cat has done something similar once. My family and I were on a trip, staying at a cabin. I was sleeping in the bedroom and then I heard a "thud" sound from the outside. In the end, my cat had gone through the small opening on the window to the balcony and fell out of it. Thankfully, it was about a one and a half - two meters drop and he didn't get hurt. Just scared the shit out me.
That happened with my cat once. I wasn't at home, but my dad said that he thought the cat was sitting on the window sill like he normally does, until he saw his white underbelly against the screen. No clue how he got out, either.
Same thing happened to one of my cats he got out then after we couldn't find him he started meowing at the door now he is a full time inside cat you bring him to the front door and open it he freaks out and claws you and run back inside

For the Schrödinger cat, a clear box would defeat the purpose of the thought experiment completely; now there’s no experiment and you would just have a cat in a clear box.
"This is how are cat prefers to be held" Actually our orange cat loves to be held like that too. We tried it with the other 2, but they didnt like it. We had to hold him like that since we needed to use our other hand, and ever since then it never changed.

Schrodinger’s Box involves you not knowing whether the cat is alive until you view it. Therefore,the cat will _only_ enter a state of disposition once you are no longer in the room.
