Not sure I would’ve stapled the flowers down, only because as someone who’s owned 6 kitties all at once (crazy cat lady alert!), I’d have wanted them to be removable to wash! Perhaps some Velcro may have worked or something? Just thinking out loud! And yes, oh my god, doesn’t it take FOREVER to wrap the scratching posts?!! I winced watching you do it! The amount of posts I’ve re-wrapped (because there’s been nothing else wrong with the post / tree!) I’ve just lost count.. numb fingers. I didn’t envy you lol! It really looks amazing!! If you ever want kitty to enjoy something.. new bed, new scratching post.. catnip spray is amazing!! Xxx
In the other video someone said the flower beds look kinda small. I went back and watched the other video and it does look small for the cat. Idk how the cat will comfortably lounge on those. I hope it’s bigger than what it seems
Snap buttons are also an option, you can glue one on the wood an sewing (it takes 0 skills and 5 minutes) the other part on the pillow. There's also snap buttons with one screw half, they are made for wood and boats
@@SweetyPrincessMargheNow that’s a great idea! She can always vacuum the flower perches, though. As long as the material doesn’t hold on to the cat hair (it looks like a synthetic mix) it will probably be cleaned easily enough. Unless they’re dragging headless mice bodies up there I wouldn’t worry about it. *Edit: Ew, that visual was a little much in hindsight. 💀🐁
My advice, vacuum the green rug often. *Often*. With the hose attachment. I had one like it that I neglected because vacuuming it is tedious. It became so full of dust and cat hair that putting it in the washer couldn't clean it. I washed it so many times that it fell apart. Debris becomes deeply embedded.
Brush them with cat comb as its like fur.. and if you wash it down with soapy water and cloth blow dry it and cat brush it at the same time that stops it.
Making a tree is the way to go for sure. We made one for our guy with some leftover lumber and carpet. Put it in a window and it's one of his fav spots now
Dangling balls (in different colors) from underneath the flowers gives her toys that are always available. Rubbing catnip on the scratching post, or just sprinkle some on the 'grass' will make your creation, her favorite spot. 😺
You made it look so easy, i wish i had the patience to make it but then i remember everything i bought for my cat and how she prefers the boxes over the actual toy. Either way it looks gorgeous ❤❤.
I do not have time to make such awesomeness. You could pretty much charge whatever you want for all that work and creativity. I'd buy it. Your style is worth it ❤
You did a good job!! It’s pretty. I know your cat going to like it. One thing to remember if its not in the right place the cat not going to use it. So if the cat not using it just moved around till you find the spot. Normally by the windows or areas they can have a view of otside or the room, tv etc
This- I have tried to find good content for years, and now I FINALLY found it! Cats and DIY is the PERFECT combo, I will absolutely do this some day! 😊
I absolutely LOVE it., Colors you picked are so darn CUUUUTE too.... A few months back son here got a Frenchie that won't leave my cat alone, & has her under my bed for most of the days. So I dedicated a whole wall for her. She's not yet use to it YET....This is a great idea. Only wish you had a full diy video. But ima wing it. Asking for some Finger's Crossed over here please, cause I really sux at crafting. Anyways stay BLESSED everyone 🌻
Aww, that's really cute and thoughtful. And your little girl looks EXACTLY like my little boy Huckleberry! They even have the same Grinch-like eyes. Precious.
4 brackets would have been much better and stronger. I love the flower idea. You really rocked out a great project. Those cat towers are so expensive. I really hope kitty loves it.
Making cat trees been one of my ideas for bisness, unfortunately first I need to find bigger flat, seing you doing so well I am more motivated for drowing some more projects ❤
Thanks god i found tour video! I was making a cat tree for my own cat and didn't know how to attach the pole to the rest since the pole are empty inside. Yours gave me a great idea 😊
