The cat and ferret was playing with each other what u talking about? As seen the cat was on top of the ferret like a tiger hunting prey if the cat got mad that'll one dead ferret rodent's is cat food
@@KnucklesIsOG First of all: ferrets are not rodents (in fact, they were used a lot to assist in hunting, from rats to even foxes) Second: most feline's greatest weapon, just like in house cats, are its surprise attacks, which do not work on a ferret due to the thickness of their skin and talking about skin, that's also a weakness for the cat, one ferret bite to the neck and the cat's gone, they cannot endure a fight like ferrets do, and they also don't have good enough tools to finish it quickly. While they were playing, the ferret got to the cat's neck a hundred times, he just never had the intention to actually kill it, just like the cat wasn't trying to kill the ferret as well Anyways: Ferrets would win more often than not, although ofc not unscathed, but the cat would be better off running away. That being said, these fights usually don't happen all that much, since both respect each other as predators, and would see no merit in fighting each other, even on the wild
@@electricgoat939 a bigger version of the ferret is the fisher. Fisher weighs 8.3lbs. North American Lynx weighs 18-24 lbs. Fishers have been found to have killed and eaten Lynx in Maine. They can slice up a dog. Don’t underestimate the mustelidae family. Their biggest cousins are wolverines, and wolverines (20-55 lbs) can defeat a grown North American wolf (up to 170lbs)
Not sure the ferret is playing.Looks like he’s going for the base of the skull, which is what it would do in the wild to a rabbit or or other prey. This actually looks stressful for the cat.
I was doing research on the black-footed ferret and when I read that that's how they hunt prairie dogs I was just sitting there like, oh gosh, when play fights with my cats, it tends to end up getting aggressive towards the end and he would end up trying to bite them from behind like that and cats would get pissed off and smack him then he stops and goes away. But I was just brain fucked when I read about their hunting tactics later on xD.
I had a ferret..The ferret is playing but also not…That’s how they take down larger prey, jump on the back and bite into the neck and spine…They have extremely strong jaws for their size.
Well that’s exactly how animals play, play for them IS a form of practice just how when cats play with each other they pounce one one another. My ferret does the same thing and tries to jump on the back of our cat and they both end up rough housing.
@@dontwatchmystinkyahhvideos Then you might love amblypygi's and vinegaroon's. I want an amblypygi but i would have to import it from overseas so it probably would not survive the later part of the trip.
@steve Alex ferrets could hunt mice if they chose to. Plus they love burrowing so a ferret could invade a mouse’s home and take it over. Wild ferrets in particular do this when they want.
My friend used to have a ferret that managed to get into the fridge and even the freezer. They had to tape the door shut. He would get way up high on things and push objects off to watch them break. He also collected shiny things such as jewelry and stashed them in his cage. Ferrets are ridiculous animals.
@GoombaPants lol, yes, they are we. We were eating pizza 1 day and my gf's ferret (name is Ace) tried to steal the pizza box. We let him do it just to see what he was goin to do with it. He was trying to pull it up under our bed. My gf was like we might as well check under there to see what else he done stashed. He had like 5 cough drops and a pair of my gf ear rings and a few other things. We had no knowledge of him doing this at all until that day lol.
@ I'd very much would like to see that.. that way I could agree with you.. but until then, I have seen enough of ferrets to believe a wild one would put up a good fight..
mike smith cats have size strength and they also have a lot of stamina! That cat could kill that ferret at any moment if it really wanted to! Skip to 1:40 you see the cat legit just kicks the little fucker away with its powerful legs! Also cats have larger jaws meaning a more powerful bite cats are better killers than ferrets are remember that when you see a grave yard of birds on your garden or see a cat killing a rabbit in seconds it takes a long time for a ferret to kill a rabbit never mind a cat
GamingLodgicZ Ferrets have more stamina than cats, felines are built to have explosiveness not stamina. So you're wrong there. Ferrets also have a stronger bite than a cat, as well as better biting mechanics. Because of this, cats have to asphyxiate prey which is less efficient than a spine crushing bite that a ferret would give to a rodent. With that being said, ferrets are better rodent killers than cats. I've seen ferrets kill rats much quicker than cats do, and this is due to ferrets having amazing grappling skills and a finishing bite. I believe a cat would put a female ferret in trouble due to size disparity between genders, but a male ferret could very well hold its own versus a cat.
Not a chance. Felines are the most magnificent killers compared to practically any animal of a smaller size. No matter how agile that ferret is, the car always grabs him and puts him on his back.
They, in fact, are the *deadliest*. The house cat has the higher success rate among felines, and while the ferret does get outclassed by it's cousins, it's still a very good predator, and would actually even have the upper hand against the cat if it ever came down to it. Ofc they're not deadly for us lol. But don't underestimate them, they lived as predators until now for a reason
It’s an instrumental version of « gods a fool » from hellmare, a metal band i had when i was younger. I have about a hundred songs like this, never released anything😂
thank you so much.i want to get a ferret but i got wild cats out side that come looking for food alot n now i know they CAN n may kill... a cat vs a ferret was not easy to find i now they are all good but if not lol liked it
Maybe need to teach ferret not to be too rough otherwise this could end bad one day ferret might have lock jaw but cats have razor claws and go for the neck with their bite
Complimenti per il tuo video è bellissimo anchio adoro gli animali come te sei bravissima 👍😍🤩ciao e tante belle cose grazie mille arrisentirci a presto Salvo da Roma piacere mio
It’s just another instrumental version of « hellmare - god’s a fool » a band i had a couple years ago. We never released anything other than on myspace and youtube.
It is just a little pissed off and getting annoyed. Its stress levels are still low. I take it you have never seen a truly stressful event for a cat, such as a cat fight or coyote attack. There is a biiiiiiig difference in body language and behavior.
This is why you shall not engage in animal plays - you shall be seen by them like a food provider and a caretaker, and not like a playmate. Keep several ferrets to keep them busy playing with each other.
